I sighed and put my hand on my head when freen gave me another sharp scolding.

I've been courting her for a whole week since the night we got home from the precinct, but until now she's still being mean to me.

Can you believe that?! I endured her for a week? And then we just made a comeback, right?!

How could it be, I turned her down when she offered to do something because I want us to be in a relationship first that would be better right ?

Because, right? Maybe the stitches on her stomach have also opened. Right? I'm just concerned about her wound and it hasn't healed much yet.

But here she is, and it's getting worse and worse for me as we sit in the living room and she's facing her laptop.

I stood up and walked towards her and then sat next to her. "Freen-"

"I'm busy. Don't talk to me."

I frowned because here she is again, always interrupting whatever I say.

I scratched my head again and was about to turn around when I heard knocking outside the house. The person next to me didn't even flinch, so I stood up and went to the door to open it for whoever was outside.

"Hi. Is freen here?"

I stared at the gorilla in front of me with raised eyebrows and now he was grinning broadly at me.

"Matt?"

I mentally rolled my eyes when I heard the excitement on Freen's voice. She passed me by as if I didn't exist and then greeted the now overjoyed Kapre with a hug.

After they exchanged their hugs and kisses on the cheek, she led the monkey to the sofa, still not paying attention to me, so I decided to go to her room and changed my clothes.

I quickly went downstairs and when freen and I met eyes, she frowned as she looked at what I was wearing.

"W-where are you going?" She asked, the arrogance gone from her face.

"I'm going to talk to Victorina."

Her forehead furrowed even more so I held back my laughter.

"Who is that?" she asked, her gaze suddenly sharpening on me.

"I mean Victoria-"

"Why?"

"There's something I need to discuss with her. I'll be right back. For now..." I looked back and forth between the two of them before speaking again.

"...enjoy your bebe time."

And then I left her house without saying goodbye. It was really annoying because she didn't even talk to me or pay attention to me, but when that monkey came, she was so happy and even gave him a kiss and a hug. Wow!

I stepped on the gas and quickly exited the yard. I ran quickly along the road to Victoria's rented house and sighed, smiling sadly.

I feel bad for her, to be honest. Vic is a good person and it's just sad that because of her  sister everything she has was lost.When she also found out what happened to her  sister, she almost lost consciousness because of the news she received.

But at the end of the day, she accepted Nita' fate. She said she made up for what her sister  had done to freen and also to me and my father. She also apologized for everything her brother had done to us. We've talked a lot actually, including freen.
