Ted's Pov:
I looked it the mirror unsatisfied. I tried on my suit for when I get married today. I didn't look good. And my hair, it just wouldn't style. I sighed and took off my suit and put pajamas back on. I felt insecure about how bad I looked, I bet Barney looked great, he always did.
I started to get emotional, I know it's silly, but it's my wedding day, I want to look perfect. I needed Barney. I know it was our wedding day, and the whole rule about not seeing each other. But I didn't care. I grabbed the calendar I've been working on, I wrote "got married" on today's date. It would be the perfect wedding gift, I wrapped it up and walked to Barney's room and knocked on the door.
"Ted! You know we're not supposed to see each other on our wedding day!" He said opening the door and covering his eyes
"I don't care, I need you" I said
Barney uncovered his eyes, his smile faded and he frowned "What's wrong"
"I just look so terrible, it's my wedding day, I want to look good" I said
"No Ted! You look amazing!" He said
"Can I come in?" I asked
"Not until you admit that you're super hot" he said
"Barney, just let-"
he cut me off "No! Say it!"
I sighed "I'm super hot"
"Now say it with enthusiasm!!" He said
I smiled "I'm super hot"
"That better!" He said kissing me
I walked into his hotel room
"I have a present for you" I said excitedly
Barney's Pov:
"Ooooh yay!!" I exclaimed
Ted handed it to me and I tore it open excitedly. It was a calendar.
"Wow, thanks Ted" I said
"Oh shut up! Look at the months! At certain dates" he instructed
I flipped to October and looked at the 15th of October it read "the first time I told Barney I loved him" and then in small print "+ our first kiss"
"Is this full of our memories?" I asked
Ted nodded smiling
I looked at October 20th it read "The first time Barney said he loved me"
"Awwwww" I beamed
October 23: Our first breakfast as a couple
October 25: First date *with a big heart drawn around it*
October 31: First time at a gay bar with Barney ( I don't want to miss a thing became our song)
November 1: The first time we were both sick as a couple
November 10: Telling Marshall about us
December 5: First vacation (took the leap)
December 18: Robin finding out about us (the Justin incident)
December 24: Coming out to the gang all together
December 31/January 1: Barney proposes
January 1: First new years kiss
January 20: Met Tracy
May 2: Barney agrees we should have kids
May 3: We get married
"AW TED THIS IS SO CUTE I LOVE IT" I said
"OUR WEDDING IS GONNA BE LEGENDARY" I yelled
