55 | Boyfriend over Brother

For lunch they go to a little restaurant and of course now the others joke about the couple as they eat. The two get to know more about the two together and Chris and Nick thought they were the cutest.

As Matt and Nick went to the restroom Chris gives Dani a smile, "What?" She laughs confused.

"Realizing how blind I was to you two. Now knowing, I can see the change in Matt. He's so in love with you it's adorable. Matt has never been the lovey dovey type and you made him."

"We haven't even acted like that yet in front of y'all." She was confused how he was getting that.

"It's all in the eyes, Dani. He basically has heart eyes looking at you and the cheesiest smile." He tells her, "I'm happy he has someone like you."

Dani smiles reaching for his hand, "Thank you. And I'm happy to have boyfriend who has amazing brothers that care for me."

"Oh don't butter me up." He laughs as their desserts arrive.

"Ooh, that looks." She eyes his as he takes a bite.

"You should taste it. It's heaven." He says still chewing it then holds out a piece on his fork to try it so she does.

"Oh my god! That is heaven." She agrees as the other two come back.

"What's heaven?" Matt asks her.

"Chris's dessert." She tells him before going back for another bit.

As she eats hers she starts to get itching and can't breath, "You okay, Dani?" Nick looks at her so Matt looks at her, "You're looking a little red."

"Are you having a reaction?" Matt turns her to face him and sees she was starting to struggle to breathe more, "She ate something with Pineapples." Matt looks in her bag her EpiPen.

"We made sure not order anything with it." Nick says then Chris calls a waiter over.

"Is there Pineapple in this?" He asks the guy.

"You ordered Grandma's Angle Food Cake, right?" He ask so Chris nods his head, "Then yes."

"It didn't say it on the menu!" Chris shouts making other customers look at them

"Guys, I can't find it. We gotta take her to the hospital." Matt jumps up.

"Why the hell not add it on the menu?" Nick shouts now.

"It was the family's secret. The menu says that."

"She can die! That's how serious her allergy is!" Chris shouts as Matt was running out with Dani  as she was getting even worse. Matt didn't care about the other two as he drove off leaving them there.

Arriving at the hospital, Matt tells them what was wrong with her and they take her back telling him to wait. While she was getting help, another doctor talks to Matt asking him how did she eat Pineapple if she already knew she was allergic to it.

"On the menu it didn't say pineapple was in the dessert that's why my brother got it. We try to be safe around her. On the menu it just said with a family secret. How is that okay to do?"

"It's not okay by any means. You can sue them for that." The doctor tells him.

"I don't care about right now. I care about my girlfriend. Is she okay?" Matt asks the man.

"It was severe case and as soon as she was taken back they did have to do CPR on her. You got here on time. If you were a minute later she most likely would've died." Matt's eyes widened, "Now incase anything else happens is there family we can contact?"
