Dani was rushing around the house trying to get things ready as her parents were coming to visit. As she did so the three just sat and watched since she didn't want their help. "She does realize she's already cleaned the kitchen three times, right?" Chris says watching her clean it for the fourth time.
Matt rubs his face getting up from the couch walking over to her, "Dani, sweetie." He tries to get her attention.
"I'm busy." She shoos him away.
"Dani, stop it." He grabs her to face him, "The kitchen is clean. You can stop. The whole house is super clean since you started at five in the morning and it's four now." He explains to her.
"Yeah but-,"
Nick cuts her off now, "No buts! The house looks perfect for your parents. We've been making sure it's been great for the past week."
"Yeah, and they are supposed to get here at some point and you look like a mess now." Chris adds, "Go take a shower and clean up." He laughs at her so she listens to them.
While she was in the shower thee three talk about that it's funny how she cares so much with her parents coming over. They get she wanted to make a good impression on like living away from Colby but she never got on them not to be stupid while they're there.
"Do any of you know anything about her parents?" Chris asks the two.
"I've said hi on FaceTime but it was a short one time thing." Nick tells him so they both look at Matt.
"What? I don't know anything about them either." He tells them, "All I know is that she's not super close to them like we are with ours." He adds.
"Maybe that's why she wants things so perfect." Chris wonders.
"Excuse me, excuse me!" Dani rushes by holding her towel tightly running to her room to finish up.
"Huh..." Nick laughs then slaps Chris upside the head seeing the smile on his face, "At least Matt isn't a creep." he gets up going to the kitchen.
"You didn't have to hit me so hard." Chris rubs where he was slapped.
"Yes I did."
"Yes he did."
Chris rolls his eyes, "I'm gonna go take a shower myself and find something nice to wear." Chris gets up leaving the two so Nick looks over at Matt, who he could tell was nervous deep down.
"Why are you nervous?" Nick chuckles a bit.
"I was the one to invite her to live with us... I'm sure they are going to ask me the most questions since I barely knew her then." He explains why he was a bit nervous.
"And they will end up loving you because you care for their daughter the most out of us." Nick tells him so he wouldn't worry.
