ASHLYN's pov

I look at him but then he yells "look out!!" As a coyote runs across the road and I just miss him and we both laugh cuz that happens almost every time we drive together. I pull into the pasture and go to the back where the cows are and try and find the bin for this grain. Luke gets out and opens the four gates I have to go through and he starts doing weird dance moves. We get the grain unloaded and we go to my aunts house for supper. See the thing is Lloyd and heather are actually my cousins, I just call them aunt and uncle. My aunt Corrine is lloyds mother. We get to Corrine's and she knows Luke very well because her and his mother are good friends. I jump out and so does Luke and he grabs my hand and looks at my right in the eyes and says "before we go in can we talk??" I look at him and nod. Idk what he wants to talk about. He sounds kind of sad or maybe nervous I don't know. He pulls me around the corner of the truck and grabs both my hands and looks me in the eyes and says "Look ash, I know we've been friend since we were little kids but I uh, I, I think I have feelings for you, well no, I don't think I do, I know I do. I really like you ash, I mean you mean the world to me and um I uh, I was uh, um, I was wondering if you would um uh, would you be my girlfriend??" I just look at him in shock then decide to tell my story and maybe mess with him a little. " Luke I've got to admit, I've had feelings for you, for actually along time. That's why Lloyd bugs me all the time. He knows I have feeling for you. But I don't want to lose any thing we have already. I mean look at how close we are." I tell him and he looks at me and replies "so um what's your answer Ash?" I look down and say "look Luke. You're and amazing friend and you like a brother to me...... But I would like to be your girl friend." He just looks at me and sighs of relief and says "your such a little shit ash you know that?!" I just smile and say "yep that's what I'm good at" and he replies saying "yes you are." And kisses me like I've never been kissed before. My uncle drives up and we both back away as he yells "I told you!!" And we all laugh. Lloyd gets out and we all walk in and sit at the tab,e for some lunch. We were all talking and my uncle says " the magic word is yet" and smiles as he winks at me and I laugh. Today has been an amazing day.
