"So you mean to tell me that you believe you seen your step-father today ?" Trevis asked not quite comprehending what I just repeated to him for the third time in ten minutes. "Yes!" I exclaimed. "I've been seeing him a lot lately but not up close. I feel like he's always staring at me before I even look up to notice him in the area. He gives me this terrifying smirk too. I think he's been following me, every place I go I see him and I don't like it." I said getting worked up all over again as I paced my bedroom again.

"What fun does this man get out of doing this?" Trevis said getting angry. "He already hurt you and Zay!"

"What y'all yungin's in here talking about?" My dad asked as he opened the door. "What's going on?" He asked noticing our facial expressions.

"I-I think my step-father is following me." I said fiddling with my hands. I only did that when I got nervous. "What you mean you think? Either he is or he isn't." My dad said not convinced. "And you don't have a step-father. I'm your only father." He finished as he leaned against my door frame.

"Well every time I go somewhere I see him , I'm starting to see him every where I turn and I can feel his eyes staring at me before I even look up to see who it is and when I do notice him he gives me this terrifying smile. It creeps me out dad." I said hoping he'd believe me.
