"The Battle of Necropolis rages on. Reports from the USC9 show no progress in their advance. However, the ULU's push East continues by a meter at a time. However, dissenters and critics have voiced their concerns with the use of "human waves". Many even claim they will withdraw patronage and tribute from Caravan and the ULU if this keeps going.

We have a 2 year old ULU vet here to dispute these claims. Sir, what are your thoughts?"

"It's E09B17, sir. First of all, those Calculators are nothing but inferior processors! Historically, human waves describe an unprotected charge to overwhelm the enemy line. Only homo sapiens during the classic wars did that. We use protection, we have shield units at the front. What we do is called a Machine Swarm. We make the enemy become tired so we can safely advance through the battlefield."

"What other tactics do you use?"

"I also wanna say that we do retreat! We just don't do it because we're babies!"

"Uhhh... would you like to explain that a bit more?"

"The Directors or MAM tell us to retreat when too many of us die or when a rogue element enters the battlefield."

"What are these 'rogue' elements?"

Nermel reached for the dial only for a child to smack his hand away.

"Don't touch it you moron."

"But-"

Close call. T frequency was a specialized tool created by Optic Runners post 98 Culling. The defective Worker Drones began to speak their own language. Other automatons who were not in on the conversation would mutilate themselves or in the case of the disassembly drones, nothing. Most DD's were fitted with deafen chips by the time "The Real War" began. Though none of these drones were really aware of that part.

"Tonight's story is an old world myth that I think many will relate to. Prior to the inception of bomber drones, we used to call the enemy a different term than "zombies". Like zombies, a simple bite is all it takes for the madness to spread, but what if they hid among us?

Vampires, supernatural beings who have an insatiable thirst for blood. Their powers are not of this world, shape shifting, mind control, wall climbing. All of these powers for the grim price of the blood of the living. Many will ask where these beings come from, that is what tonight's story is about.

Count Dracula, the grand daddy of vampires. Count Dracula, like other vampires, is fueled by blood. Anyone bitten by the Count must do his bidding, as they slowly transform into a vampire themselves. Dracula is intelligent as he is powerful, he has generations of knowledge to keep pace with his soon to be victims.

However, Dracula has ailments that stop his power. Dracula cannot cross over rapids, even if he flies. This ailment to water also translates to the ocean. Though sunlight is usually fatal to vampires, Dracula's powers are simply taken away from him at sunrise. We can be thankful that it doesn't work like that for us. And last but not least, Dracula cannot enter your home or infiltrate your ranks unless invited in. That's the terrifying part about Dracula, a monster that you unknowingly invite into your world.
