"Shall we go?", asked Vivaan. We both were seated inside his car, parked infront of the main gate of my home.

I nodded with a smile as he started his Mustang and drove away.

"Why the dinner out of the blue?", I asked.

"It's a surprise", he replied with a wink. I just shrugged my shoulders and scrolled through my Instagram feed.

"You still look at him?", I heard Vivaan asking. He must've been me.

"You know my answer", I replied calmly, turning off my phone and tucked it back inside my purse.

I heard him sigh but he didn't reply. We had talked on this topic several times and all of them led to nothing good. Soon we both reached a luxurious restaurant and we got down and went inside. Our seats were reserved on the top floor so the view of Moscow from the floor was beyond gorgeous.

There was no one and it was made sure by him that not a single person was seen near us. The whole floor was reserved for us. It had no roof so the star studded sky was the cherry on top. The place was well lit with lights and food served added to the lovely atmosphere.

"So what is it?", I asked, clasping my hands on the table.

"Actually I have two things to tell you", he replied, slightly hesitantly.

"Stop hesitating and come to the point Vivaan", I spoke calmly trying to ease him up.

He nodded, "You know I've liked you for so long, right?",

I nodded right away. I didn't interrupt because I wanted him to finish what he wanted to say.

"So, my feelings for you always were mixed with the feelings for a friend and the romantic feelings. I used to confused about whether I liked you or loved you and later on, I realised that I had stopped at the border of liking and never was able to move to loving. Maybe it was because I stopped myself with very much efforts from loving you because I knew you can never love me. You still love Arnav and I'm no one to stop you from doing that. I couldn't let myself get hurt because I've been insecure in love my whole life. I feared of getting abandoned. But now, I've finally found someone", he spoke softly.

I knew he was stopping himself from falling for me and I also knew that he was insecure because I had noticed his behaviour. He was a very nice person and sleeping with someone else like that doesn't make someone horrible. Yes, it's wrong to sleep like that but it is what it is. I was happy that he was finally moving on but what surprised me were his last words. My eyes widened.

"You've found someone? Who's that lucky woman?", I asked in surprise.

He chuckled nervously, "Stop speaking so loudly."

I rolled my eyes but urged him to speak ahead.

"She's a worker at my office. She had joined around four months ago and she's been really kind and helpful towards me. I'd been feeling like she liked me because of her certain behaviour but to confirm it, I used some childish trick on her. I made my assistant act clingu towards me and upon seeing that she did get upset. Yesterday I proposed her and she said yes", he explained everything. I didn't fail to notice a genuine smile and the happiness he had, on his face. I was so happy for him because he had finally found someone. I was already feeling guilty but now, I can breathe with relief.
