Crazy

The 5 people walking down the street at  3.00 am sure did not fit into the quarter they were walkin in and whoever crossed their way made sure not to cross it.
Kaya didn't care. She was used to this and the guys seemed to be too.
As they opened the door to the stairway to her flat, Steve pulled up his nose.
"Woah what do they cook here? diapersoup?"
Kaya chuckled. "I think so".
She lead the guys to her apartment.
When they went inside, Johnny looked around a little shocked.
"Yea it's not that fancy I'm sorry", Kaya shrugged her shoulders.
"Maybe we should take her with us, John" Sid said quietly.
She turned to him. Her brain went totally crazy. Did he just...?
Johnny smiled. "Sure we can."
Kaya was about to say yes. She would've liked nothing more to get out of this hole and these guys seemed really cool. And Sid...she smiled unintentionally.
But then her sanity came back.
"That's really nice of you guys but I uhm...I can stay the night here", she tried to smile.
"You sure?", Johnny pulled up his eyebrows.
"Yea, I'll be fine. Thanks for bringing me home guys"
"You're welcome", Steve grinned.
"Are you free tomorrow?" Johnny asked out of nowhere and without waiting for a reply he added: "We'll pick you up tomorrow".
Kaya smiled "uhm o-okay...bye guys."
They all said their goodbyes and Sid smirked and waved.
She slowly closed the door and dropped on the couch.
"Wow.", she thought, "wow".
It took her a few minutes to realize what just had happened and then facepalmed herself for not going with them.
But then she pulled herself together again.
Who knew what could have happened.
Maybe it was better to get to know them better first and to let them pick her up the next day as Johnny had said.
She convinced herself that it was good she stayed at her own house.
She pushed herself up from her red, old couch and went to her small kitchen to make herself instant noodles.

She had lied in bed -or more on the couch- for half an hour but she just couldn't sleep.
Too much had happened and Kaya couldn't think of anything else but Sid.
As hard as she tried to think of something else, her thoughts always went back to the dark-eyed, quiet guy.
"I'm going crazy" she thought to herself.
Makin her fall for someone was a hard thing to do and now it just took a few hours?
"No", Kaya said quiet but resolutely, "I just had too much beer."
