Happily ever after

The mansion was alive with giggles and laughter as Bible worked alongside the triplets—Andrea, Eza, and James. The three little munchkins were bubbling with excitement, their tiny hands busy placing flowers and fairy lights around the garden.

“Papa will love this, right, Daddy?” Andrea asked, holding a pink ribbon.

Bible crouched to her level and smiled. “He’ll love it because we’re doing it together. Now, where should this go?”

“Here!” James said, pointing at the archway.

Eza nodded solemnly, holding a small sign that read, Will you marry me? “Papa is going to cry happy tears, right, Daddy?”

Bible chuckled, ruffling her hair. “Maybe. But don’t tell him, okay? It’s a surprise.”

They worked tirelessly for hours, placing candles, scattering rose petals, and perfecting every detail. Bible couldn’t stop smiling as he watched the triplets pour their hearts into the decorations.

As the sun began to set, the garden glowed with twinkling lights. The archway stood at the center, adorned with flowers and ribbons, with the triplets’ handmade sign hanging proudly. Bible stepped back, admiring their work.

“Perfect,” he said, pulling the kids in for a group hug. “Papa’s going to love this.”

As they giggled and hugged him back, Bible’s heart swelled. This wasn’t just a proposal—it was the start of forever with the family they’d built together.

Now, all that was left was to bring Jeff outside and watch their love story take the next step.

Jeff pushed open the front door, balancing the bags of groceries in his arms. “I’m home!” he called out, his voice echoing through the seemingly quiet mansion.

No response.

He frowned, setting the bags down on the kitchen counter. The house felt unusually silent—too silent, given how lively it always was with the triplets running around.

“Bible? Andrea? Eza? James?” Jeff called again, walking toward the living room. Still nothing.

As he reached the back door leading to the garden, he noticed faint laughter and the warm glow of lights spilling through the curtains. Curious, he pushed the door open—and froze.

The garden was transformed into a magical wonderland. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the trees, petals lined the walkway, and under a beautifully decorated arch stood Bible, smiling nervously.

The triplets, holding hands, ran toward him. “Surprise, Papa!” they shouted in unison, their faces lit up with excitement.

Jeff blinked, overwhelmed. “What… what’s all this?” he whispered, his gaze darting between the glowing garden, the giggling children, and Bible’s tender smile.

Bible stepped forward, reaching for Jeff’s hands. “It’s for you,” he said softly. “For us.”

He knelt down on one knee, the triplets gathering beside him with grins so wide they seemed to glow. Bible pulled out a small box, opening it to reveal a simple yet stunning ring.

“Jeff,” Bible began, his voice steady but full of emotion. “For the past eight years, you’ve been my partner, my rock, and the love of my life. Together, we’ve built something beautiful—a family, a home, a future I never imagined could be this happy. I want that forever. Will you marry me?”

Tears brimmed in Jeff’s eyes as he knelt down to their level, his hands trembling as he took Bible’s face in his palms. “Yes,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “A thousand times, yes.”
