Chapter 21

Harry's POV

I sit in the twins room rocking Cole because he woke up. My mind just keeps wondering off tonight and I don't understand why. Should I quit my music career to take care of my family. We have enough money that I've saved up. The boys would be disappointed but it's life. Suddenly I get a call from Zayn. I pick it up a little confused.

"Hey mate" I say

"Hey can we talk" he says

"Yeah but it's two in the morning. What's up" I say

"I'm going to leave the band" Zayn says

"What why" I say

"I just can't do it anymore. I need a break from music and I can't deal with Simon anymore" Zayn says

"I know he can be tough but cmon we need you" I say

Zayn and I ended up talking for hours. We even got the other boys in on the call and we all agreed that we can disband and take an eighteen month break. A break could be good. especially with us having the twins now. We hang up the phone and I just sit here looking at my sleeping baby in my arms. What am I going to do now? Music if my dream. It's my life. Do I start my own career or do I just stop? I mean I do have a list of songs that I never showed anyone. I put Cole back in his crib and just head down stairs. I don't want to wake up Rose so I'll just watch some tv. As I'm watching tv I keep zoning out. I can't seem to wrap my head around our decision. Is it even the right one?

*The next day*

I'm making breakfast with Matilda and she keep throwing chocolate chips at me.

"Hey why are are doing that" I say

Matilda doesn't answer but instead she just throws another chip at me. She starts laughing and rolling around on the floor. I take out my phone and take a video of her. I send it to the boys but no response. I just want to Bring light to this moment. I hope they will be willing to meet the twins. They don't all have to be here at the same time but I would like them to at least meet them. I watch the video of Matilda as I'm cooking when I get a text from Louis.

"hey can I come met the twins. I would love to see Matilda as well" He says

"Yeah sure come over anytime. We will be here" I say

"Thanks mate" he says

I put the phone down so I can take the food off the stove. I put the pancakes on the plates and place them on the table. I put Matilda in her chair so she can eat do I can take one of the twins from Rose. Rose hands me my baby girl Willow and as soon as she's in my arms she looks at me. I look at her for a little while until she gives me the biggest smile ever. I'm so lucky to have this little family in my life.
