Chapter 27

"Matilda get up we need to go to the doctor" Dad yells form downstairs

'I'm coming just let me get dressed" I yell back

I put on my black leggings and a yellow short sleeve shirt. I slip on my white shoes and head down the stairs. When I get to the bottom I see that Uncle Niall is here.

"Omg why are you here. I thought you were on tour" I say

"I'm doing some shows in London this week and thought I would stop by and see all of you so I'm going to stay here with the twins while your dad and you go out" Niall says

"Okay! I'll see you when I get back home" I say very excited

Uncle Niall and I have a very special bond. I used to make him match with me when I was younger and he would do it with no complaint. He would even let me pick out our outfits. That's why I love him so much. We used to play with my dolls together too. I hope he will do the same with my kid one day.

Dad and I walk to the car and get in. We drive to the doctors and when we get there we have to hurry in. The guards try and keep the fans away but they take a lot of pictures with us. It amazes me how quickly they find out where we are sometimes. I mean do they follow our car? They probably do because they can be crazy like that.

The nurse takes us back into one of the private rooms they take celebrities in since a few of them come to this doctor. She makes me lay down on the table and I lift my shirt up just under my bra. She puts the cold jelly on my stomach making me jump for a second. I look over at dad and just see him sitting there looking at the screen so I look over at it too.

"Okay so right here is our baby." The nurse says pointing to the small baby on the screen.

"They are so tiny" I say

"Yup but they will get a lot bigger" The nurse says

The nurse looks around for a while more until she hesitates.

"Is something wrong" Dad says noticing the nurses hesitation

"It loos like there are two sacks but it looks like only one is filled for right now" The nurse says looking at dad

I look at dad with a worried face and he grabs my hand letting me know everything will be okay. The nurse wipes my stomach off and puts my shirt down. I get off the table and dad and I walk back out of the doctors office. I hold onto my stomach pushing through everyone though because of what happened to mum. I'm scared that will happen to me too. I know dad won't let that happen though. We get back into the car and just drive home because I don't want to talk about anything right now. Being around all those fans makes me overwhelmed and everyone knows it because I used to be shy on stage when I was little.
