Rose and I are sitting on the couch with the wins while Matilda is playing with her toys when the doorbell rings.
"Matilda do you want to see who's here" I say
"YES DADDA" She yells
We go over to the door and I open it. Matilda set Louis and runs into his legs and hugs him. Louis picks her up and spins her around making her giggle.
"How's my favorite girl" He says
"I'm good" Matilda says
We walk into the living room and we all sit down on the couch. Matilda goes back to play with her toys.
"I heard what happened. Are you doin okay" Rose says
"yeah I'm okay. It's just a little weird since this is how I started" Louis says
"You'll do great things lou" Rose says
"Thanks Rose. You always know what to say" Louis says
"Would you like to hold the twins" I say
"Yeah. I would like to meet my birthday twins" Louis says
I pick up both the twins and place them on Louis's lap together. They are small enough to both fit. Louis looks at them for a while. I notice he has a sad look on his face. Maybe he is really sad that the band broke up but I know he'll do great things.
"They are beautiful" Louis says
"Yeah they look just like Harry" Rose says
"They really do" Louis says
We sit there is silence. It's a long silence. It feels very awkward but I'm not going to say anything. I wonder what life will be like in the future. I hope we are all going to be okay.
