Michael has always been that one guy that got along with everyone. He didn't like fighting with anyone or making anyone mad. He went with the flow and just made everyone happy.
Lately hes been pretty hostile towards Luke, who is one of his best friends. Michael has finally figured out his feelings towards Katherine and now that hes seeing she doesn't care and nothing will happen between them, hes blamed Luke.
Michael realized he cant blame Luke. How can he blame Katherine for falling in love with him? Luke was tall, got that cute guy thing, blonde, smooth talking, and a rock star.
So Michael decided to end this whole tension between him and Luke. Michael got to Luke's house and nobody would answer the door.
"Hm, that's weird." Michael said as stared at the navy blue door. There was no cars in the driveway so that means Luke's parents weren't home. So Michael tried opening the door, and surprisingly it was open.
"Luke?" Michael called out holding a box of doughnuts.
Silence.
Michael walked around the first floor and didn't see anyone or any sign of life.
"Michael?" Luke said suddenly, in nothing but boxers.
Michael jumped and turned around, "Oh Hey."
"What are you doing here?" Luke asked folding his arms, "Are those doughnuts?" He said walking towards him and opening the box and taking one.
"Uh yeah.. i um. Listen i want to apologize, ive been acting so mean towards you because i was jealous of how much Katherine likes you. That wasn't fair of me...I miss..us." Michael said shrugging.
Luke smiled and took a bite, "I miss us too. Sorry i was such a jerk, i should've talked to you before i jumped into things with her."
Michael sighed in relief, "Well i brought over these apolo-"
Michael was interrupted by a girl voice.
"Luke, im gonna take a show-" Melody started to say, "Shit." She said looking at Michael.
Melody was standing against the stair rail in Luke's flannel t-shirt. Thats all she was wearing.
"Melody?!" Michael yelled and he looked at Luke, "Melody?!" Michael shook his head.
He was so angry. Of course he was pissed off at Katherine for taking Michael's love for granted, but she didn't deserve to be cheated on. Specially when her boyfriend sleeps with one of her best friends.
"Luke?!" Michael yelled louder.
Luke looked at Melody, "I told you to stay upstairs!"
"Sorry i didn't know Michael was here!" Melody snapped.
"I cant believe this." Michael started to walk out.
"Michael! Wait!" Luke said running after him. "Dont tell Katherine!"
Michael reached the front yard and then spun around and looked at Luke, "Dont tell? Dont tell Katherine? Are you insane?! Katherine is the most perfect girlfriend anyone could ever even ask for! She doesnt deserve for a scumbag like you to just cheat on her. Specially with her BEST FRIEND. She deserves to know, and you bet your ass im going to tell her."
"Scumbag? Mich-" Luke said. He was genuinely hurt. Yeah, what he did was wrong but to hear those words come of out Michael's mouth, really hurt Luke.
"Yeah, scumbag! I cant believe Katherine chose YOU over me. I love her to the ends of this earth. I still do and i probably always will. Shes stomped on my heart a billion times. She chooses to love a guy who only cares about sex a-and fame. The tour was supposed to be fun and for the four of us to live our dreams, not for you to become some low riding version of Charlie Sheen. " Michael scoffed, "I gotta go find Katherine." He shook his head and walked on, throwing away the box of doughnuts as he passed the trash can.
