Katherine held her breath, her eyes widened, and she creeped down the hallway and out of the house. She had heard enough, Michael was in love with her, deeply. This wasn't an issue for Katherine, she was just confused was all. She liked how things were, right then, and she didn't want anything to change. How long has MIchael been in love with her? In a way this made Katherine mad, why hadnt he told her? Maybe things would be different.

Not that she felt the same way about Michael, she honestly didn't know what she felt, but it wasn't just friendship. But she was still getting over being in love with Luke for years, and she didn't want Michael to just be her rebound, he deserved better than that.

Katherine walked all the way to her apartment and found herself into her bed. She wanted to see and tell Michael what happened at the diner, but she couldnt face him right now. She had to decide what she wanted to do with what she just learned. Does she act like she didnt hear anything and let Michael tell her on his own? Or does she tell him that she knows and they try to figure out the best way to not make things awkward because who knows maybe she can return all the feelings. Katherine didnt want to be around Michael until she decided.

-

"Wait so you heard.. Michael tell me he was in love with you?" Calum asked gripping his water bottle, because he knew that person was.

"What was his exact words?" Ashton questioned eating a banana.

Katherine sighed, "He said "That's hard because i fall in love with Katherine more and more everyday." and then I left."

Calum nodded, that was pretty much the end of their conversation anyway.

"Im pretty sure he's going to tell me how he feels." Katherine said leaning against her kitchen counter.

Soon as she got home, she went to lay down in her room and after an hour or so and she was still indecisive she decided she needed her best friends to help her.

"Well what are you going to do?" Ashton asked.

"Nothing, she should do nothing, and let Michael tell her." Calum said quickly, he was in a tough spot between being the one Michael told and now Katherine is asking for advice.

Katherine gave Calum a weird look.

"Uh, I dont know, thats kinda why I asked you guys here."

"I think you should tell him. It might hurt his feelings if he finds out you knew and you did nothing about it." Ashton said.

"Well who's gonna tell him that she knew? I think you shouldn't tell him and just let things play out. Who knows maybe he won't even tell you." Calum piped.

Katherine stood and just looked at the both of them.

"Well its not like he won't tell her. From the sounds of it hes like passionate. When Michael is passionate he doesn't just let it go. Lukes out of the picture.. Cmon Cal, put the puzzle pieces together!" Ashton turned to look at Calum.

"Whatever.." Calum said already giving up, "Its not like shes using the information for bad, like rubbing it in Lukes face."

Katherines eyes widened. Ashton and Calum turned to look at her.

"Katherine! NO!" Ashton said.

"Think about it, ill just tell Luke that me and Michael.. you know." Katherine said leaning off of the counter.

"No. It will end badly, Luke feels terrible, hes heartbroken." Ashton said defending Luke.

"What if Michael finds out?" Calum piped.

"Well it's brownie points for Michael, im sure he'll be fine, and as for Luke, this is what he gets, he will realize he messed up. Plus, Luke isn't talking to Michael, and Michael isn't talking to Luke, so if i tell Luke then he will probably just be hurt and back off. Michael won't know, Luke wont tell, and the only other people that know are us three. So dont tell anyone! Its a win win." Katherine explained.

Calum swallowed, he knew this was a bad idea, "Fine."

"Fine." Ashton groaned.
