Katherine stood there frozen. She was staring at her four ex best friends who just abandoned her without a word. She hated them, they knew that she didn't have a lot of friends and she didn't make friends easy. The majority of her, was happy for them, she knew that's all they ever wanted.
Michael stretched out his arms, "Suprise! We're home!" he smiled wide.
Katherine still had no words, she nodded instead. The boys just stared back at her. Finally, she spoke.
"When did you guys get back?" she stepped closer.
"About 20 minutes ago," Ashton said.
Katherine finally got back to her sassy self.
"So what made you come back? I mean after all, your tour only ended three months ago." she folded her arms across her chest.
"Well, actually we stayed because they like us out there Katie. You should have seen it-" Calum attempted to say.
"I dont want too." Katherine cut him off, shaking her head and walking behind the counter. She reached into the drawer and grabbed her cell phone.
"You're seriously mad at us right now?" Luke scoffed.
"You guys just left without saying goodbye. I mean might as well throw me out to the dogs." She said and walked out from behind the counter. "I have a party to go to.." Katherine walked out.
She didn't even get halfway down the street until she turned around and walked right back into the restaurant. She just stood there.
Michael was propped up against the counter, Ashton was sitting on a stool leaning against the counter, Calum pulled out a stool next to Ashton, and Luke had his arm on Calum's shoulder.
"So they liked you?" she croaked.
-
They were all sitting in a booth that resembled the letter C. Katherine came over with drinks and set them down, sliding in next to Ashton.
"Katie, we had this girl, when we were in Los Angeles, she came to our door and handed us a stryofoam head!" Calum laughed.
"It was actually terrifying." Luke shook his head and took a sip of his coffee.
"Let me guess.. Ashton loved it?" Katherine looked over at Ashton, laughing.
"I colored the eyes out." Ashton laughed his goofy laugh.
The boys and the girl had great relationship. Katie understood them and it seemed as if she was one of them.
Michael had been staring at Katherine, something was different. He was biting at his lip, he couldn't quite figure it out. They were all quiet for a minute and then,
"HEY!" Michael screamed.
"Fucking hell, Michael!" Luke threw his hands up and had coffee all over him.
"Oh no.. not again." Calum rolled his eyes.
"Can we talk about how your hair is PINK." Michael smirked, put his arm on the booth and sitting back, proud of himself for bringing it up before anyone else did.
Simultaneously, the three other lads flashed their eyes at Katherine and said "Ooooohhhh."
Michael smirked at Katherine and raised his eyebrows.
Katherine has never dyed her hair before, and Michael had always tried to get her to dye it. She wouldn't budge.
"Well I needed a change, and Melody sug-"
