Chapter Five

"What's wrong with you?" Katherine said, crossing her arms and standing next to the juke box michael was playing with.

"Nothing." Michael said blankly staring down at the music choices.

"You've been acting moody for the past week. Cmon, tell me." Katherine pushed.

Michael rolled his eyes and looked at her, "Nothing's wrong. Just hurry up and get off your shift so we can get out of here. I'm bored." he whined.

Katherine laughed a little and shook her head as she walked behind the counter and started to check out.

Michael was irritated because Katherine had been doing nothing but spending time with Luke. All she would talk about was Luke. Everything has to do with Luke. Michael was so annoyed. Luke never talked about Katherine the way she talked about him.

Michael started to get upset thinking about it.

Katherine walked over and stood infront of Michael.

"Lets goo." Katherine said.

They had been in the car for about an hour now. They were on the outskirts of town and Michael wanted to just drive. Something he loved to do. He loved to just drive, it made him relax.

"Michael. Where are we?" Katherine asked looking up from her phone and out the window.

Michael shrugged, "We're supposed to be going to view point." He had no idea where we going honestly.

Katherine sighed and turned up the music.

Michael got annoyed. She acted like she had somewhere to be. Katherine never acted this way.

Michael turned down the music, stopping Katherine from singing.

"You got somewhere to be or something?" Michael looked at her.

Katherine shook her head, "Not really, I wanted to go to dinner with Luke but he isn't answering so."

Michael scoffed and smirked. Knowing that Luke wouldn't answer to something like that.

"What?" Katherine said.

"Nothing." Michael laughed.

"No say it." Katherine said, pushing again.

"I don't think you want me too." Michael replied.

"Oh I want you too." Katherine looked over at him.

Michael smiled, and shrugged. "Fine. Luke is a dick and you're an idiot for not seeing that."

Katherine glared and turned in her seat so she could face him.

"Oh tell me how you really feel Michael."

"I'm just saying. Luke doesn't give two shits about you, and you deserve so much better. But all you do is praise Luke."

"I don't praise him!" Katherine argued.

"Oh yes you do." Michael laughed. "All you do is talk about him and honestly it gets annoying because Luke never talks about you."

Katherine swallowed and turned right in her seat and bit down on her lip. She did that when she's mad.

After minutes of silence Katherine finally spoke,

"You have no right telling me about my relationship." Katherine said.

"As your bestfriend I can tell you that you should break up with him and find someone better." Michael argued.
