Finally we've reached the end of this story. I'm so proud of my work, and I hope you liked it as much as I liked writing it.
I know many of you were hoping for a happy ending for our Celine and Charles, but you should know that the epilogue was actually the very first chapter I ever wrote for this book.
My initial idea was to write a story with an ending that leaves a bittersweet taste. If that's how you felt while reading it, then my intent was achieved.
For this reason, I decided not to change the ending, even though it also leaves me with an immense sense of sadness.
I never imagined this story would be so well-loved, and I'm grateful to everyone who followed it and patiently waited through my irregular updates.
