It was the early hours of the morning, the sun still had yet to come up. The previous day a battle had been held in Greenwich to decide the fate of the universe, the good guys won, and Shield was stuck with the clean up.
"Gamma Squad, cut it off, just ahead of us." Three Black SUVs all Shield, were racing across the streets of London in pursuit of a Frost beast that had fallen onto Earth during the Convergence when Photon and Thor had engaged Malekith.
Alpha Squad, the one in pursuit of the monster, were chasing after the giant creature. An SUV suddenly drove in front of the frost beast to try and cut it off but it trampled right through, rolling the vehicle roughly out of the way.
"Command, we just lost another cruiser, any update on backup?"
"Yeah boys. Back up is here." A voice came from over the coms. Above the car Alpha Squad witnessed a flash of bright blue above them, from it Y/N flew forward, propelled by whatever velocity he had picked up. The Avenger grabbed onto the beasts tail, being dragged along for a ride.
"Is that Photon? I've never seen him work up close before."
"Yeah, that's him. I met him once on the Helicarrier." The driver mentioned. Suddenly the Avenger was sent flying as he lost his grip on the monsters tail.
"Watch out!" The passenger side agent called as Y/N almost crashed into their ride. However the boy in urgency teleported above them, avoiding the SUV and smashed into a brick wall.
Y/N pushed himself up, rubble from the wall surrounding him, Y/N teleported to the creature and wrapped his arms around its tail.
"Ok pal, time to calm down." Y/N tightened his grip on the monster and stuck his feet into the ground, pulling up the asphalt as he dragged the creature to stop. The Frost Beast whipped around and looked at the Avenger.
"Shit." The creature suddenly swung its body around frantically to get Y/N off.
"Don't.." the creature swung Y/N into a nearby building but he refused to let go, "make me.." The creature swung him into the wall of a second building, "have to.." and a third time, "hurt you!"'

The Beast swung it's tail downwards into the concrete, finally loosening Y/N's grip, who let go. Pain shot through his torso, as the wound he received in battle the previous day hadn't fully healed yet. He looked up only to see the creature snarling at him.
"Nice doggy?" The creature roared in response and jumped at the boy.
