"She's so tiny and yet such a troublemaker," Avni muttered, narrowing her eyes at their three-month-old daughter.

Little Avanti was sleeping peacefully in Avivansh's arms, her tiny fist curled around his finger as if she owned him.

"Hey," Avivansh immediately protested, looking offended on his daughter's behalf. "Don't call my daughter a troublemaker."

My daughter as if she wasn't equally Avni's.

Only three months had passed since her birth, and somehow she had managed to wrap the entire family around her tiny fingers.

She was the youngest among all her siblings and cousins, the undisputed princess of the family, and everyone knew it.

Avanti Pratap Singh.
Avanti is short for Avantika, Avni's mother.
Avivansh has chosen this name way before she was born, Avni even teased him what they'll have another son he name her Avanti too, but Avivansh had a strong institution that they'll have a daughter this time.

And he was right.

The name suited her perfectly. Avanti means someone moves forward or think ahead and that is what they wanted for their daughter.

Anant and Advitya practically worshipped their baby sister. The first thing they did every morning was search for her crib, and the second they returned from school, their bags were abandoned near the door as they raced to find her.

"Dada, she smiled at me today."

"No, she smiled at me first."

The daily argument never changed.

And honestly?

Avni couldn't blame them.

Looking at her daughter, she often found herself wondering how someone so tiny could be loved by so many people.
