"Adi, stop running around and wear this blazer!" I yelled, for what had to be the tenth time in the last half an hour. Sweat beaded at my forehead as I chased the little hurricane across the room.

He was giggling, sprinting like a wild puppy, his bow tie dangling from his hand. Impossible child. Notorious. Stubborn. Where did he get it from? Definitely not me. Must be his mother. Okay, fine, maybe a little from me too.

Meanwhile, his twin brother, Anant, sat on the sofa like a miniature king, already dressed to perfection in his outfit, polished shoes, and hair neatly combed. He was calmly observing the chaos with narrowed eyes that clearly judged both his brother and me.

No one would ever believe they were twins. So alike in looks, yet poles apart in personality.

I checked the clock and groaned. We were supposed to be ready by seven. We had to leave for the palace soon-Suchita Chachi and Arjun Chachu's wedding anniversary was not something we could arrive late to. And if we did, my wife would absolutely kill me.

Her mood swings lately had been... unpredictable, to say the least. I couldn't even blame her.

"Dad, come catch me!" Adi giggled, dashing across the room with all the energy of ten monkeys.

I stopped, placed my hands on my hips, and put on my most serious voice. "Advitya Pratap Singh, you better behave yourself."

My tone was deep, commanding, the kind that could make half my office staff scramble.

Adi, however, burst out laughing. "Hahaha, Dada, you are so funny!"

I rubbed my forehead. Wonderful. My own kids don't fear me.

From the sofa, Anant sighed, sounding far older than his five years. "Dada, you're doing it wrong. You have to trick him. Otherwise, he'll never wear the tuxedo."

I turned to him, scandalized. "Oh, so now you're the parenting expert?"

"Yes," he replied simply, folding his arms. "Because I don't run like a monkey."
