The soft glow of the lamp gives the living room a cozy, relaxed vibe, but tonight, the energy in the room is electric. Cliff's grinning like he's up to something devious, and I can already tell we're in for a fun night.

"So," Cliff says, rubbing his hands together. "I thought we could do something... a little different tonight. How about a game of Charades?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Charades? Really? You know I'm terrible at acting, right?"

He shrugs with that mischievous smile of his. "That's what makes it fun! Plus, it's all about making each other laugh, not being good at it."

"Fair point." I chuckle, leaning back on the couch. "Alright, hit me with your best shot."

Cliff pulls out a stack of index cards from the table, each with something written on it. He holds one up to his forehead, and I immediately feel my competitive side kick in.

"Alright," I say, clapping my hands. "Give me your first card, and let's see if you can actually make me guess it."

"Oh, I'll make you guess it all right," he teases, shaking the card in front of me. "Watch closely."

He starts flailing his arms and hopping around like an absolute maniac.

I stare at him, trying to hold back my laughter. "Is... is it an animal? A frog? Wait, a kangaroo?"

He nods enthusiastically, still hopping and making exaggerated gestures. I'm dying trying to guess but can't stop giggling at how ridiculous he looks.

"You're acting like a frog on a trampoline!" I yell through my laughter.

Cliff stops for a moment, panting dramatically as he holds up a finger. "You're so close! But, no... it's not a frog."

I frown. "A kangaroo, then?"

"YES!" Cliff screams, pointing at me. "It's a kangaroo! You got it!"

I burst into uncontrollable laughter, covering my face with my hands. "I cannot believe that was a kangaroo. You were hopping around like a madman!"

He laughs too, flopping back onto the couch, wiping his forehead like he just ran a marathon. "I had to work for that one, okay? The kangaroo moves aren't as easy as they look!"

"Right," I say, still chuckling. "Okay, my turn."

Cliff grabs the stack of cards and hands one to me. "This should be interesting."

I take a deep breath and immediately start acting out a completely ridiculous scene. I grab an imaginary microphone, and with all the flair I can muster, I pretend to be a rock star, performing for a screaming crowd.
