Day 22

Alyssa Rae's POV....

I woke up a little early than usual and left to work. I didn't wait for Russell and I don't care.

“Good Morning Madam.” I forgot that I have secretaries now.
“Good morning, sorry I forgot that I have the two of you now.” they both smile and introduce themselves.
“So Samantha, have you checked the latest update with Love Spell?” she nodded
“Yes Madam, they will release their new products. They sent you samples and they're requesting for your feedback.” she gave me three bottles of perfume. I took one and smell it. She pulled out her Ipad, waiting for my feedback.
“This one is sweet, but I love the sweetness its not irritating my nose. Let's see if this will last long.” I sprayed it to my wrist.
“I'll tell you later if this is long lasting. But the other perfume is perfect. It smells like spring and the smell is kind of addicting. The other one is perfect for men. Its not too strong like those other perfumes. These are perfect.” she smile and nodded while typing.
“Thank you Madam, I'll be right back.” she left and Carlo stepped in.
“Madam, you will have 2 straight meetings this morning. And you have an appointment to Ms. Lucky at 1 pm for your dress for tomorrow's event.”
“What is the first meeting for and what time?” I asked, fixing my documents.
“Its for the new project with Bartholomew's, it will start at 9 am. Its a breakfast meeting at one of their restaurants. The second one is with the board members about the new game that will be launched last week of the month, it will start at 11.”
“Okay, thank you. Get ready because we will leave at 8:30.” he left and I finished the documents.
At exactly 8 am, Russell showed up with foods.
“Love you didn't woke me up, I could have drove you here.”
“I'm fine, I can drive perfectly fine.” he sat in front of me.
“Let's eat?” I shook my head
“I already had a sandwich and coffee, I have a breakfast meeting later.”
“Are you mad at me?” he asked standing beside me
“Why—”
“I'm sorry love please, I can't just leave her like that. She waited for me, and she's soaking wet because of the rain. I feel bad.” I raised my brows
“Then why are you here? Shouldn't you be taking care of her, she might be sick because she waited for you in the rain.” I didn't mean to sound sarcastic, but I'm not pleased as he tried to reason out.
“Love please, I just really felt bad.”
“Stop calling me that. I don't care if you felt bad. Really, Russell. I don't think this will work between us. One day you're being like this and then once she comes back to you, you're like ready to leave the world for her. You should really think what you want. Choose wisely, but not everyone can wait.” someone knocked on the door
“Madam, are we leaving now? The car is ready.” It was Carlo.
“Yes, give me a minute and I'll be outside.” I stand up, grabbing my bag and walks to the door.
“Think it through Russell, don't decide immediately. Take all the time you needed, I don't want you to choose me just because I'm pregnant. Choose what your heart is telling you.” with that I left.

My day is not that great, but the meetings went according to plan.
“You can stay here now, Carlo. I'll go to Ms. Lucky alone, just update me if something happens.”
“Yes Madam.” I stayed in the cafeteria for and hour before leaving.

“Ms. Dunn, Welcome! I've been expecting you, the dress that you bought is perfect you can try it if you want.”
“Hi Ms. Lucky, it's really nice too see you again.”
“You're so sweet, come here. Let's check the dress, so that we can see if there's need for adjustment.” I nodded as she dragged me to one of the rooms.
“This is perfect, I really trust your hands. You're wonderful.” I said as I look in the dress. Its a fit red backless dress, its simple but elegant.
“Can I try it?” she nodded excitedly.
“I immediately put the bag aside and go to the fitting area.
“Its really beautiful, it fits perfectly. You're so awesome!” I said as I look in the mirror.
“Let me see!” she ask excitedly, I walk back to her
“Oh you're so beautiful. This dress is really for you! I knew it!” We're both giggling and looking at the dress for almost an hour and talking.
“I will definitely wear this and talk about your Jewels in the event.” she laughs
“Thank you so much, I'll leave you here first. You can check other dress if you want, I have a client outside.”
“Sure, thank you.” I walked to other dresses until I reached the wedding dress part.
I see that there's a dress that is inside the glass. Its beautiful. Its wide, the sleeves are fit, it will go below the elbows. The waist are perfectly designed and shaped. The gown is perfect.
