Day 19
Alyssa Rae's POV....
I woke up at midnight and saw Russell sleeping on the couch. Deserve. I walk to the kitchen, planning to cook something because I'm hungry. But...
I decided to call Lucky, I don't know but I want to hear her voice.
“Hm? Good morning, Lucky speaking.” she said on the he other line, sounding sleepy
“I'm sorry to bother you at this hour Lucky, but I need to eat.”
“Huh? Sister? Is this you?”
“Yes, can we meet?”
“Really?! Sure!” she squeals making me take the phone away my ears.
“Where? When? Now?” she asked continuously
“Yes, I'll send you the location. And yes, now.”
I changed to a hoodie and pants. And drove to the nearest restaurant.
“Sister!” she immediately walked to me and hugged me, I hugged her back.
“Were you waiting for too long?” she shook her head
“Let's go?” I smiled when she nod and we walked inside.
“I'm really shocked when you called me, I'm surprised.” I chuckled
“I'm just hungry and I felt like I want to hear your voice. Also I can't let the baby starve.” I said while picking out what to order. I look at her when she did not respond. She's looking at me wide-eyed
“You're pregnant?” I nodded and her eyes started to water.
“Hey, don't cry.”
“I'm just excited, when Mom told me about you I was so happy. They can't have another child aside from me so I'm all alone. I don't have friends and no one wants to be. When I moved here Mom told me to look after you because there's a lot of people are after you. So I let someone apply in your company to tell me everything that is happening.” I look at her,
“What?! Who are they?!” she flinched
“I see, Mom is right. You'll react that way. But they're doing great with their job, right? They're your secretaries.” To say that I was shocked is an understatement. I don't know what I'm feeling. This is a lot to take.
“Don't overthink it, they're great. Mom sent them to help you. I'm here to help you too.”
“Ladies, are you ready to order now?” the waiter asked and we ordered.
“You're so chatty, like Mom.” she smiled
“So, how long have you been pregnant? And who's the father?” she asked
“Its been a month, and he's Russell.”
“Russell, your fiance?” I nodded
“So when's the wedding?” my mood became sour
“I will not marry him.” she looked at me shocked
“What? Why?” she asked, I wasn't able to answer because our food arrived.
“Enjoy your meals.” we both thanked the waiters and they left.
“So?” she asked not letting go of the topic while she taste her pasta.
“He love someone else, and I no longer love him. My feelings for him fade away. I rather raise the child alone than give it a chaotic family.” she nodded
“How did you know he love someone else though?”
“He's always been in love with her.” she raised her brows
“Then how come something happened between the two of you?”
“We're both drunk, and the next day he told me it was a mistake and it shouldn't have happened.” she dropped her fork in her plate
“What?! If I see that man I will slap him hard!” she promised, I just laugh at her
“Well, my plan is to leave after the contract which is 19 days. But my father is idiot and gave a wedding date which is after the contract expires.”
“If you don't want to marry him, leave that to me. I'll kidnap you on the day of your wedding.” I laughed
“I'm not joking!” she pouted
“Oh, I thought it was a joke.” I said, still laughing
“I'll plan this. I will meet up with your secretaries also we need somewhere to take you after we ditched your wedding.” I nodded
“I will ask someone to clean my house then.”
“Perfect, then. I'll ask for Mom's help. I guess she will be here by then.” I nodded
“Okay.” we continued eating and talking about our childhood.
