Hey everyone,
Now this isn't a 100% reboot but I wanted to try something new.
I'm not saying that Ellie and Matt are back for good but I've decided to revive them for a test run, a beta version is you will.
So starting with the end of this chapter I'm going to be posting a multiple choice, you choose the story line type thing.
So please readers, read on.
======================================================
At least I wouldn't have to quit my job, I thought as I dressed for work. I am a bookstore clerk at a local shop near my apartment. While it wasn't that well known the store brought in loyal return customers who kept us in the black. I had started working there while I was still in school, weekends mostly. Over the years I went from temporary staff to pretty much the only staff. I did everything from sorting to cashier. While it wasn't glamorous it paid the bills and allowed me to read on the job.
My boss, a sweet old grandfatherly man, wouldn't care that I was pregnant so long as I still got the job done.

I walked into the kitchen and quickly grabbed a breakfast bar to go. I pulled on my sneakers and began to walk to the subway that would take me to the store. On my way I began to notice something strange. Everyone was pregnant. All the women, or nearly all of them, around me were sporting baby bumps. I looked down at my still flat stomach and wondered when I would start to show.
I was interrupted by my phone buzzing in my purse. I opened it to see Matt's goofy face on my caller display.
"Hello?" I asked.

"Ellie! I found the perfect place. Listen, it's a 6 1/2 in a good neighbourhood with hardwood floors and a backyard. It's out in the suburbs but, Elle it's perfect. So what do you think?" He asked as he took a breath.

"I think you are nuts. I am not living in the burbs! My life is here, my job is here. A job I'm going to be late for if you make me miss my subway." I said as I began walking down into the subway.

"There's a train that runs from the burbs to the city." He pleaded.

"No keep looking. There must be something closer." I said as I closed the phone and got on the subway.
Ever since I had agreed to move in with Matt he's been crazy looking for a place. He designs some sort of anti-virus software for a living and is a notorious cheapskate, which has resulted in him saving up a good chunk of money. Money that he has decided will go towards our first home. I always heard of 'nesting' I just thought it was only a female thing.
The subway car screeched to a halt and I, along with other worker bees, began to file out.

I arrived at work a few minutes early. There was a man my age standing outside the store, waiting for it to open. I walked by and smiled before unlocking the door and letting us both in. I watched him as I set up business for the day. He had sandy brown hair and dressed like a professor, a professor who had gotten dressed in the dark.
He caught me looking and smiled, then went back to browsing.
Nearly an hour later he came up to the desk, a book in hand.

"H..h...he...Hello, I'm Chris. I was w...w...w...wondering if you've read this?" He said as he pointed at the title of the book in his hands. I didn't recognize the title.

"No sorry I haven't. Is it good?" I asked him as I leaned in towards him.

"G...g....g...good? It's am...m..mazing." He stuttered as he placed the book on the desk.
I scanned it and charged him then he asked for a pen.
He opened the book and began to write inside the first few pages.
After he was finished he handed the book back to me.
"For...for ...for you M'Lady." He whispered as be began to leave.

I read the title over to my self, "The Secret Garden".

Then I opened the book and read the inscription.

"You have been denied a classic. I hope you accept this gift and tumble into the world of action, suspense and love.
-Chris"

There was a number written after his name.

======================================================
So what should Ellie do?

A) Call Chris, the stutterer.
B) Read the book but not call Chris just yet.
C) Hide the book and ignore it because she already has enough trouble in her life.

Comment your opinion. After enough people have had their say I'll begin writing the next chapter.
