"Dad!" I say out the window of my bedroom "dad can you give me a ride to school?" I said rolling my eyes "DAD!" I yelled "yeah I'll give you a ride" he said in a low whisper still staring out into space. " God, you giys are so out of it" I say before closing my window and grabbing my bag. I got in the car where my dad was sitting staring straight at the road. "Bare you going to see the hoodlums after school?" My dad said starting the car and driving without taking his eyes off they road once while we talked. "Dad they're not hoodlums they're ok." I say "no I know them that chambers boy is no good." He said as we pull up to the school "in fact there he is now." My dad said Pointing to an eyeball sitting on his car cigarette in his mouth with billy, Charlie,and fuzzy. "Dad I'm gonna let you be the last one to make fun of my friends lay off!" I grabbing my bag from the seat " it should've been you or Gordie" he said I got goosebumps at what he said how could he. " I can't believe you! Go home and mop about Denny some more!" I yelled slamming the door shut and he drove off. I walked over to eyeball not letting him we my tears, but to didn't take long for him to see me tearing up I had my legs crossed and my hand over my face as he asked what was wrong. " he told me it should've been me or gordie not Denny." I say still having my face in my hand. " who cares what he says about you! You're better than him" eyeball said Hugging me "yehs I guess you're right" I quit  crying after that and we went to class
*Gordie's  p.o.v*
I was walking home from school with Chris when ace and eyeball came out of irbys and came to mess with us. Emma was no where in sight. " Where's emma?" I say "at home! Do you need to the search team to go and find her or something God you're real overprotective of her. What do you think we're gonna hurt her?" Ace said " no He's just looking out for her! Nobody can do that when she's hanging with you assholes!" Chris said " you little shit" ace slammed Chris down  on the and shoved a cigarette in his face "oh shit" Chris mumbled " take it back" ace said "stop you're hurting  him" I butted in "fine I take it back!" Chris said ace pulled him up off the ground and pushed us out of the and kept walking Chris waved and gave an evil smile. " come on let's go to my house" I said putting an arm around Chris
