"Get out of here, move!" Pavel yells shoving Katya forward and she quickly regains herself snapping out of the slight trance she was in, the three of them begin their hard run to find cover and get out of the town.

The rattle of a machine gun echoes throughout the streets, following another twenty minutes of nonstop running. They finally made it out of the borders unaware that the frontal force of the Blitzkrieg is surrounding Brest fortress.

Panting a little, Pavel looks up with distrust in his eyes as he says "So, girl. How long until we reach Minsk?" The Sergeant asks, honestly not caring because she's not even enlisted.

The two of them stop seeing that Katyusha has stopped, turning to face the two. The controlled rage on her face is present and noticeable, with a deep breath she then says with a controlled, well thought of lie. "I've killed 34 Germans with this rifle at the border gates fighting to hold them off and I'm not afraid to make that 35 with you. Sergeant."

This shuts the man up as Bargov began to chuckle a little saying "Alright Private Alexandrey, when and if you prove yourself. You'll gain our respect but for now we got a more important job to do, if you don't mind." Bargovs rich baritone voice cuts in.

Scoffing and rolling her eyes, she takes a step forward and continues her walk along the road.

Suddenly the sound of a vehicle approaching gets the three on edge as they quickly get off the road and into the cover of the foliage and tress along the road.

The two vehicles stop and the SS troops climb out of the transport vehicles to take a quick break and stretch.

The three make a conclusion that this platoon might be part of the front scouting force, as they're at 16 men strong.

Looking over with a harden stare she holds her hand out to Pavel and whispers "I'm going to kill them, give me your grenade Sergeant." Katya says through gritted teeth, they're the same soldiers as the ones shooting down the civilians back in the town.

Hesitantly, he hands over his grenade and after studying the weapon Katya understands how to prime it, so quickly she twists and pulls the pin out.

With a grunt of effort, she heaves the grenade as hard as she can so it'll travel and land into the surrounding mass of Germans where they're socializing.

Detonating with a loud pop, it kills the majority of the circle which leaves a few stragglers who begin to run back to check on their comrades.

Driven by the anger of witnessing the murder of the helpless people in her town, she draws her grandfathers service pistol and fires walking on to the road.

Caught off guard by the ambush the unarmed scouts drop to the concrete with blood pooling from their heads or chests as Kat fills them with led.

Then Ducking into cover behind the armored jeep, a wounded soldier has crawled over and began to fire at Katya having to sit up against the door of the Kübelwagon so he can fire his Mp40.

Panting a little, she's exhausted from all the running, still out of military shape and carrying the gear that she currently has on with the rifle, pistol, and ammo is still a weight she's getting used to.

Hearing the multiple clicks of the empty weapon, Katya makes her move and pops up emptying the remaining clip of her service pistol into the mans side.

Still out of breath with the adrenaline leaving her body, she loads a clip into her pistol and with the fresh clip.

She shakily walks over to a wounded German, the man is crawling and it's leaving a smeared blood trail.
