Akuma POV

I met Tazuna's daughter Tsunami at breakfast, I could tell she loved having company over though she felt uncomfortable for not being able to provide a lot for us. My team reassured her that this was much better than camping and her mood picked right back up. Kakashi explained to Tazuna and Tsunami that he was going to train the team today to prepare for the future battle with Zabuza. They had pieced together that he was alive while I was out, I could of told them that, but I was to stay with the two while he took the other three out to the forest. Now I am here sitting against the door frame to the patio that was open while Tazuna read the newspaper and Tsunami was chopping vegetables for lunch that was a few hours away.

"So why aren't you training with them kid, still weak?" Tazuna drawled.

"Oto-san!" Tsunami snaps at him and looks apologetic at me, I wave her down.

"He is training them in chakra control, most likely in tree climbing with no hands. The better the chakra control the better the jutsu performance. I am not originally from the Leaf and have been a ninja for many years, I agreed to the Hokage's terms to join a team and become a genin to learn teamwork. Before I worked mostly solo and was a high Jounin. To say the least, the switch is... taxing. Physically wise there is not much this sensei can teach me... maybe." I look at the two and see the woman making connects with my age and the new info, her eyes become slightly wet before she goes back to cutting. The male looks shocked but with a new look of admiration and ease in his posture.

I send out a pulse of chakra enough to cover the town and feel the people in it, this place is quite depressing. Hmmmmm.

"Tazuna, would you like to go to work today?" He looks at me questionably.

"Your sensei said it was safest to stay-,"

"He undermines me because he has not seen what I can do. Plus this town is depressing, you say your bridge can fix it then we can not wait for him to deem time necessary. The Hokage is my leader not him, unless I receive otherwise I will follow through." I stand as he stands and I eye him, "One more thing, I do not like alcohol. It does not allow me to perform to the best of my abilities so please withhold it while I am around. I also have a sensitive nose and a more sensitive memory." He nods before leaving to change and I slip out and find Kakashi.

"Akuma why are you here and not with the client?"

"I am going with Tazuna to his work site for him to continue, this needs to progress already and waiting for the rest of the team is too time-consuming. This mission needs to get done and I see no reason to sit with them at their home and wait for you all to catch up. My sensory net is already over the entire town, docks, river, and bridge. All is clear. I just came to let you know." I see him eyeing me critically.

"Akuma this is not how teams work. You do not make decisions by yourself."

"The Hokage gave me-,"

"Orders to be on My team under My Leadership. Akuma this is what he's is wanting you to learn, teamwork. You are not in charge of this team, not unless I am taken down then I can see you becoming in charge temporarily. You have to put trust into a team, you aren't the whole mission, you are only a part." I feel anger whelm up inside me and my blood lust demanding to put Kakashi in his place, but then I realize that this is what he was talking about. Unfortunately, it's going to take a long time for my body to recognize someone else in charge of me other than me.

Kakashi POV

My entire body is tense ready to dodge any incoming attack from my ninja daughter in front of me. I saw realization fall on her when I explained the Hokage's goal and I know she understands, but with all her years of training and kami knows what else, it's like her body refuses to be put below someone other than the highest-ranking member of the village. Her body was forced into survival mode and she had to make her place in the food chain to live. I feel her blood lust beginning to slip out and I know if I don't do something quick I might lose the situation.

"I'm not saying your wrong Akuma, your words ring true so yes you can go, but I remind you if you were on another team under the Hokage's orders they wouldn't have put up with your actions and declined your decision. I guess you have Tazuna waiting?" She nods stiffly, "Then go on."

She disappears silently and I relax, I knew these waters were dangerous, but knowing it's my daughter is worse.

Akuma POV

Over the next few hours, Tazuna and his crew continues at a snail's pace and I begin to compare them to my old clan. I begin to see my clan's advantages again, our bendings were part of our way of life assisting us in everything we did. With that thought, as I make my way over to my client.

"Tazuna." He turns to face me away from his drawing plans and table that overlooks everyone.

"Hmmmm, what is it?"

"I will help."

He barks a laugh which raises my eyebrow which makes him stop, "You're serious. You're a ninja, aren't you meant to break things?"

"More like break people, but I come from a village with a Kekkei Genkai or a bloodline that allows us to bend minerals of sort that deal with earth. We also pride ourselves to show off in architect with our ability. You would be in heaven if you had gone there while it was in its prime."

"So what you all bend rocks and stuff, what do you bend?"

"A very rare element for my people, metal. Unlimited amount so far. So, shall we get started." Just thinking of my village again was causing my rage to surface and I think he felt that.

So for the next few days, I was used lifting metal beams, fusing them, holding people's dock stations in air, lifting heavy platforms full of concrete blocks to different areas. Sakura showed up on day 2 and her eyes nearly fell out of her head. She wasn't fit for any of the hard jobs so she was placed of water and lunch duty. While they were on lunch I would start adding my modifications to the bridge, it was no secret to my village in the past that I enjoyed sculpting my metal, I even worked with a few architects in my village to produce some of the finest works they've ever seen. As the whistle blew for work to begin I pulled to tarp down and went back to the others.

Akuma Dream

My team and I are camped in the snow mountains forest right outside of a Snow Village just having completed an assassination mission. Right now, I am six years old showing no emotion and secretly was freezing while the rest of my team are bundled up warm inside the warm tent a few meters below.

'Screw it' I stand and make my way to the village. I take my ANBU mask off and pull the hood of my cloak up to hide my face. The village is not huge but it is cozy. I suddenly hear yelling and running so I duck into the shadows tightly. A boy maybe a year or two older than me turns the corner at high speed with a loaf bread in his hand running from a baker. The boy looks dirty and malnourished, probably starved, and for some odd reason as the baker slips and stumbles I grab the boy and pull him to me and put my hand on his mouth to keep him quiet. He struggles at first till he heard the baker yelling and running past our hiding spot. Once the coast was clear I relaxed my grip and the boy ripped free. I kept my hood up while I studied his person: pale, mid-back dark brown hair, brown eyes. He could be mistaken for a female easily. I look over him once more and realize something else, I activate my eyes to confirm it. I step towards him, enchanted with his chakra color.

"Stay back!" He scoots back frightened and I tilt my head at him. I helped him and yet he cowers, not that not I'm used to it. I flicker and pin him to the ground staring at his chakra once more, it's so pure and innocent. His eyes expand at the sight of mine and I see his curiosity peak. I can't help but feel a small warmth for the boy. It's been a long time since I've felt such a thing, but it happened. It was there and then I decided that this boy would become my second precious. I lean down and kiss his forehead while returning my eyes to there normal color.

"You... are as pure as the snow you lay on and I will protect that with all the power I possess, my Haku."

***Dream End***
"Oi! Miss Ninja its quittin' time! Let's not be late to dinner now shall we." My eyes snap open adjusting to the night time through my sunglasses, I see Tazuna waiting for me at the end of the bridge. I stand up and look over the river.

It was strange to think of my precious during a mission, I wonder what it could mean?
