Akuma POV
Once he poofed to the roof I just laid there turning over the information I just gathered.
He doesn't want me.
Now, I've had those looks before from my previous village. A lot of ninja didn't want to work with me, but I honestly didn't care. We kept our distance and completed the missions, if they lived great-if they didn't, I didn't really care. However, seeing Kakashi didn't want me on his team made a tight feeling in my chest.
I am confused.
My mind thought it's because he's my father, although unknown to him... it hurt. I just don't see why it would hurt, I mean I have no emotional connection to him or am a part of his life in any shape or form until now. I need to ask the Hokage about this.
"Um, Akuma, are you coming?" Naruto asks. I open my eyes and lift my head up seeing the rest of my genin team looking at me a little confused.
"Yes, go on ahead, I'll be right there," I tell them, putting my head back down.
They look at each other and shrug, "OK, if your sure we'll see you up there. OK, Akuma-chan?" Naruto says with a childish ring.
"Okay."
I hear them leave and begin there journey to the rooftop. I take off my sunglasses and rub my face. I feel.....old? I'm only 12 and I feel 60. Great. I don't feel like getting up, so I make the hand sign for transportation jutsu and poof for the roof.
Sakura POV
Honestly, I hate our team, except for Sasuke-kun. One- we have Naruto. He obnoxious, annoying, weak, and loud. He always bothers Sasuke-kun and thinks he's better than him. He stole Sasuke-kun's first KISS!
That was mine!
Second, we have Akuma. She's scary. She could have killed me when she attacked me or Iruka-sensei! Ugh, who does she think she is?!? She's even friends with Naruto. She's a freak and she dares to talk to MY Sasuke-kun... Even if he responds... she has no right.
I don't like her.
Kakashi POV
I lean against to railing of the roof waiting for my team to arrive. By the looks of things, they won't pass my test or come close. This team is going to be troublesome, I don't even know them and I can feel it.
Sigh.
*POOF*
I jump slightly and look to my right watching the cloud dispersed. On the ground is Akuma, sprawled out on the ground, sunglasses off, and her arm over her eyes. She looks worn out. Probably not used to hanging out with kids her own age. Feel the stress. She shows no sign of acknowledging my presence. I was about to ask her about why she hides her eyes but she spoke up.
"Kakashi, how do you know if you have acknowledged someone as your friend?"
I blink, "Do you think you have made a friend?"
"I do not know. Earlier I pinned Iruka, promising death if he hit Naruto. Iruka was just doing the normal ranting, but I reacted differently this time and I do not understand why," she explained sounding more confused by the end of the sentence. She was trying to understand the emotions she was feeling. She is willing to protect Naruto, but even that accusation is not solid. It will be hard to trust her with the rest of the team's lives. Mine included.
"It sounds as if you see Naruto as someone precious or important enough to protect."
"I thought of that as well and I only came up with two options: 1. He is the host of the Kyuubi," I tensed, "or 2. I have considered him as a friend, as the Hokage refereed. I have never had a friend before so I thought it logical to ask someone older and more experienced in life," she finishes and I can only stare. She defiantly is a force to be reckoned with.
