The familiar scene of the destruction again. You saw adult Gojo fighting against all odds thrown at him. The opponent struggled to keep up with him. But, in the end, the curse found a way to take his life. The ending that you had observed nearly a dozen times now. As if one heart-wrenching future possibility wasn't enough, your nightmare continued in a series of your loved ones' demise one by one. Unable to contain grief, your body jolted itself to wake up.
Your eyes opened in panic with a quiet gasp. But, it was enough to get your friend's attention. Without caring for a bookmark, Kento shut the book he was reading after taking a look at your alarmed face, "Usa?"
You turned your body in his direction. Your brain slowly registered that you were taking a nap on the beanbag in the common space. Yu slowly shifted to a conscious state at the movement around him.
Looking at your friends, your frantic mind flashed the images of their deaths. Your nightmares usually came when you were sleeping alone in your room. So, you had time to calm down and dry your tears. Unfortunately, you didn't get that opportunity today. At the first sign of your tear, Kento frowned with concern and dropped his book to get your side, "Usa? What's wrong?"
You heard him speaking but couldn't see anything besides his body being destroyed by a blue humanoid curse with patches. He flinched when the first tears streamed down from your eyes.
"Usa-chan, did you have a bad dream?", Yu asked worriedly. Sleepiness escaped from him at once. You only cried more when you recalled his lifeless body on the cold metal plate.
The two shared a look of worry before Yu moved closer to your side and opened his arms for you. Needing a sense of comfort, you didn't hesitate to accept his hug. Being used to consolate his younger sister, he let you cry on his shirt while patting the back of your head gently, "There, there. Cry it all out". He hummed a soothing lullaby song together with your sniffles.
Kento politely rubbed your trembling back. During a year of knowing you, they had never seen you cry. Yes, you may have shed a few tears while watching movies or the time you ate food that was too spicy for your taste. Never once, you cried this scared. Offering their quiet warmth, the two boys patiently waited for your shaking self to calm down.
After a while, you pulled back from Yu with a frown, "Sorry, Yu-kun."
"Why are you sorry, Usa-chan? If you're worried about my shirt, that's fine. The important thing is that you feel better."
Kento handed you some tissues and asked, "Is this about those dreams you are having?"
"The ones that made you start practicing with your sister?"
Looking down at your lap, you nodded, "Yes, I thought they were just nightmares. But now, I'm convinced that they are precognitive dreams."
Kento's hand never left your back, "Although we aren't experts like your sister, you can talk about it if you want."
Your eyes snapped to him in alarm, "But, they are just bad things. Why would you want to know?"
"If they bothered you this much, surely, they mean something."
At your hesitation, Yu patted your knee, "We are not forcing you but we might feel a bit left out that you chose to tell your sister but not us."
A small appeared on your face at his teasing bait, "Fine, fine, I will tell you."
You looked at both of them steadily, "It's really bad though. I am not even 100% sure of them. That's why I am taking lessons to be more certain."
"We are Jujutsushi, Usa. We work with less. We just want to know what made you sad."
