"I'm not surprised for Usa. But, Satoru in the library? Are we going to have snow in the middle of summer?"
Satoru blew raspberries at Suguru from the chair he was sitting opposite of you.
"Big deal, I have been here before too."
"Yeah, once", Suguru snorted before turning his attention to you, "What are you looking for?"
You spared a glance at Satoru with uncertainty. When he gave you a small nod, your eyes lifted up to the raven-haired senpai, "We are looking into the village that has the twins as their scapegoat for every fault around the village. They are being treated really, REALLY unfair."
"What?? Why would they do such a terrible thing?"
Watching Suguru frown in anger and concern, Satoru's determination to find the place grew stronger.
"Is this a new mission?" Suguru asked, sitting beside you to examine the sprawling documents.
"It's more of a personal quest. The school doesn't know or hear of this", you answered for him.
"Where did you get this information then?"
Before you could open your mouth, Satoru was already answering, "Because it's the village that you will destroy in the future for the girls."
The bluntness caused a moment of silence between you three. You panickedly looked around just in case there was anyone else in the proximity. Satoru probably made sure of it before his blunt reply. Suguru blinked as if he couldn't understand what he just heard.
"I will- what?"
"You heard me right, you will receive a mission to find the main cause of curses surrounding the village in the future. But, when you get there, you see the way the villagers are dumping it all onto the twin girls. It's the last straw for you and you destroy the village and people in it. So, we are finding it before you receive the mission."
Although dumbfounded, Suguru was able to see worry in the blue eyes behind the sunglasses and your nervous fingers on the map. Yes, he did get mad just from hearing the news but the obvious concerns from his friends calmed his anger down.
"Where are we looking into? What are the clues?"
"You are NOT coming with us, Suguru", Satoru's words carried the sternness you had never heard of.
"You two are looking for this place for me. Of course, I'm in."
Suguru spoke like it was obvious enough reasoning.
"Hell nah, you are staying behind. Bunny and I are enough for this."
"Why? Are you worried that I will slip and kill the villagers?"
Satoru stood up from the chair with enough force to knock it back.
"Suguru", six eyes of his were starting to glow, "Don't fucking joke about it."
"Why would I joke? It seems like I had done it exactly in another timeline."
Satoru's hand was quick to grip the collar of Suguru's uniform, "You fucking gave me your words that you will stay with us to build a better future."
You couldn't breathe with nerves and from the pressing of curse energy radiating off him. Maybe you should intervene before it escalates. But, a part of you was telling you to let them find a solution together.
"Then, why can't you trust me that I won't do the same act this time around? Do you think I would leave you with the burden alone?"
Suguru's hand grabbed onto Satoru's wrist with firmness, "I trusted you enough to support how you want to rebuild the Jujutsu generation. Then, shouldn't you do the same to me here?
