Chapter 14

WARNING : BLOOD AND VIOLENCE!!

"Serinuma-Chan, can you hear us? Serinuma-Chan?"

"Shoko-Senpai?"

A younger girl shook herself to wake up.

"Good, you are awake. Can you remember what happened?"

"I was ... I was following a curse that was sucking off from a young boy. It disappeared at the loading area. And then, something hit me from behind- Why am I tied up?"

She looked around to notice the two older girls were in the same situation as well.

"Where are we?!"

The place they seemed to be in was an enclosed room with no exits or windows. It was a squared-shaped room and faint lighting from the phone screens.

"Serinuma-Chan, calm down first. Don't try to make a sudden move, okay?"

"O-okay", She nodded again at Shoko's voice.

"Let's compare notes. We looked for you because you weren't there in the sales area anymore. And then, we found you lying on the ground. When we got close enough, two male figures appeared and held you hostage. We had to follow their instructions or else they threatened to kill you. You see these ropes they tied around us?", Shoko motioned to the weird rope with seals written on it.

"They restrained us from using our Jujutsu techniques. That's why it took me a long time to wake you. How are you feeling now, Serinuma-Chan?"

"Just a little dizzy but it's getting better now. And-", she turned to you with a confused face, "Why was Usa-Senpai's mouth shut up?"

You frowned at her with your hands similarly tied up. There was a seal cloth over your mouth.

Shoko weakly chuckled at you, "Yeahhh, for some reason, they kept her lips shut."

"And, where are we?"

"Inside the space that one of the guys created. He is the one who can make exits or entrances on demand. We only saw three more curse users but I doubt they are alone. Seems like they want to hide us here before their real target comes."

"Their real target?"

"Yes, and he's on his way now."

A new female voice answered. A large void opened up to make an entrance for a woman and a man.

He made a dramatic way of showing a way to the woman, "See? Hostages acquired."

A woman with short black hair scanned the three of you and you instantly felt a sense of chilling danger from her. Something about those eyes was alarming to you. You shifted to cover the other two behind you. Shoko, a Jujutsushi who specialized in healing, and Serinuma, a new student with buffing and debuffing skills. You couldn't possibly let her hurt them.

Her eyes flickered to you with a mild interest. It was then you noticed a fainting stitch on her forehead. It jolted a similar image of future Satoru's. Another flash attacked you, where Satoru was being held down by the same being in front of you. It mocked him from Geto-senpai's body.

Was it a plan to get to Geto-senpai?? If so, maybe you shouldn't have left hints for Satoru to find. If Satoru were to come, Geto-senpai would surely follow. You had to drive them off sooner or better make sure they wouldn't come near again.

"I'm seeing an extra girl. Why is that?"

"Because they were together. What does it matter anyway? It was an easy catch after all."
