"So... you like me?" She asked, wanting nothing more than to hear the words come out of his mouth.
"I don't know, mhh, let me think, do I?" He asked himself, touching his chin slightly, like he was really thinking about it.
"Yep, after some long and important thinking, I think I do." He continued, nodding his head along with his words.
"That's...good." She replied, not really knowing what to say or do.
It's not like she didn't like that or want that; it was just strange.
Hearing someone say that they liked her was strange.
She never got a boy confessing to her, so it was new and different.
Which meant that she was now scared for a different motive.
She never experienced anything like this, so she was scared of doing or saying the wrong thing.
She was scared to be too inexperienced in everything and that it was going to be a deal breaker for him.
Maybe he was going to leave her for a girl who was more experienced than her, who was better, who knew more.
