Even though it was raining and it was pretty cold, the warmth of Joseph was making everything better.
She liked the fact that after they sat down, he removed his hand for a second before putting his arm around her shoulders and embracing her in a half hug, with his fingers caressing her arm barely.
She just hoped that he wouldn't feel all the shivers that he was giving her unconsciously.
Or she thought.
In all reality, Joseph knew what he was doing.
And the shivers that she was feeling because of him were the exact same that he was feeling because of her.
And it felt right.
They felt right.
The only problem was that both of them were scared of being rejected, so they couldn't go past the teasing, which they actually both enjoyed quite a bit.
He liked seeing her cheeks get all rosy just for him. He liked to leave her speechless. He liked seeing her get all shy all of a sudden.
He liked her.
And she liked feeling his hands caressing her skin. She liked seeing him blush a little. She liked being able to leave him speechless when no one else could.
She liked him.
"So... Who do you think will win?" Joseph asked the girl who he was side-hugging.
"The teachers, I think, I heard they won last year." Vittoria responded, looking at the boy's finger on her arm and then at his face.
"I want that place to smoke, without any of the teachers saying anything, so I really hope we win." Joseph replied to the girl's answer.
