After a week full of tests, the teachers finally started returning their corrected tests.
"Lamazière, five," Mr. Douillard said while returning their Latin tests.
"Vergoux, seven."
"Laubrac, nice progress...four." Their Latin teacher continued, making the class laugh and the poor boy blush.
Then he got closer to the first row. "Felbec, excellent as usual, 17." The man said, making the young boy smile, happy.
"Sabiani, make it neater next time." Mrs. Giraud said, looking disappointed in the blonde, making the said girl worry.
"You too, Anouilh." The teacher continued, making Vittoria widen her eyes, scared to have failed the test, and then she proceeded to nod at the old woman's words before looking at her paper.
17/20
Her eyes widen even more, and she showed her friend next to her, her score, failing to not show her excitement, which got the attention of some of her classmates, some looking at her with jealousy, like Felbec, some amused, like Laubrac, and some with a soft smile on their faces, like Joseph.
"Miss Anouilh, 20, perfect." Mrs. Couret said, really happy and proud of her students, making Vittoria smile softly and thank her teacher.
"Miss Sabiani, 17, well done." The teacher continued, making Annick smile too, and Vittoria congratulate her, happy about how her friend did.
"Miss Anouilh, 18, good job." Mr. De Goff, their math teacher, said, looking at the brunette in the first row, making her smile in gratitude.
"And the highest grade, 19, Miss Sabiani." He finished, giving Annick her tests. "Same as Mr. Laubrac." He continued, making Vittoria turn around to smile at her friend and give him a thumbs-up.
