"Just a warning. It's not fair." Jean said, while smoking with his two friends, with Descamps not so happy that his plan didn't work.
"I'm sure that if it hadn't been the dean's nephew, he would have been expelled for sure." Charles added, with a frown. "This is more than unfair; it's actually illegal, I think." He continued, after taking a smoke from his cigarette.
"Well, one thing is sure: I'll do anything to make him pay." Descamps finally said. "I lost an eye, and he got to live with just a warning; that's plain bullshit." He added, while looking at his feet with anger in his eyes.
"And that class leader bullshit?" He continued. "That bastard and that so-called teacher made me look like an idiot." He added more angrily.
"They made me look like a fool when ma chéri was looking at me; can you believe it?" He asked, looking at the two in angry confusion.
"Oh yeah, how could they?" Jean asked sarcastically, bumping his shoulder to Charles' one, making the other boy laugh a little.
"This is serious; I was making progress, and now maybe it all went to hell." Descamps said, looking at the two with little despair in his eyes.
"Progress? What are you blathering about? You barely talked to her when she apparently "fell" on you." Charles joked while remembering what the one-eyed boy told them this morning.
"Well, if you really want to know, in the infirmary she looked at me with her big forest-green eyes, and I couldn't control myself, so we got closer, and then..." Descamps said, looking at the boys, who were ready to hear about some spicy details.
"The nurse came in and destroyed what could have been our magical moment." He continued making the boy laugh.
"So you're telling me that the nurse almost found you kissing Vittoria? That would have been awesome, honestly." Jean said, while laughing still.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want, but it was honestly so magical until that woman arrived and ruined everything." Descamps continued, with a dreamy look in his eye.
