"This is great," you comment, glancing at your marvellous surroundings. Pine trees equally spread out in the land, allowing the sun's rays to perfectly shine between all of it. Your personal favourite view was the lake with shimmers dancing atop of it. This place is breathtaking, you say to yourself.

"I love it up here," Mitch adds, turning around so he could face you. You were on his tracks as he guided you throughout his parent's property. His blue eyes were at a blissful phase, only making you stare straight at them in awe.

Mitch had settled on bringing you to his cottage. At first you were terribly unsure if you should go, considering the possibility you may be a burden. Though, after hearing his parents insist you tag along, you couldn't refuse.

Your first date had been set in newly renovated McDonald's. Despite the fact you were dressed sharply in the outfit you were supposed to wear to the high class restaurant, you enjoyed yourself nonetheless. He was charming and goofy, making you never want to exit those McD's doors. You weren't an official couple, since he hadn't asked you to be his girlfriend yet. That scared you a bit. Due to the fact you were going crazy just thinking about him.

"I'm sure, it's really really beautiful," you grin up at him, tucking away a strand of hair.

Mitch stops in his tracks and shrugs, "not as beautiful as you, though." You sheepishly giggle as he throws you a playful wink.

He directs you to the dock and shred a few pointers. You were smiling like an idiot the entire time he was explaining and pointing out things. You didn't even know what the hell he was talking about, because all you could manage to do was stare at him.

Mitch claps his hands together and looks around him once more, making sure he hadn't missed any extra details. "That's about it, Y/N. The lake's warm today so if you're up for a swim we better get on that," he warmly smiles, facing out to the calm water.

You bite into your lip, "my bathing suit is inside." You attempt to turn to prepare a quick jog to fetch your bathing suit. Before you could even run, Mitch grabs ionto your shoulder to prevent you from getting any further.

"No need, as long as you have undies and a bra," he smirks, ripping off his shirt to reveal his toned body. You can't help but stare, nearly drooling a pool of desire.

You run side by side down the long dock, stripping your clothing as you do so. You scream and hear Mitch laugh beside you. Suddenly, you feel your body cascade into the horrifically freezing water. While your body arises and you float up, you're met face to face with Mitch.

You stroke your hair through your soaked hair, pushing it back in the process. You can't take your eyes away from him, and seemingly, neither can he. "You're stunning," you hear him mumble softly.

He swims closer to you, playing an attractive grin across his pale lips. You desperately want to kiss him, to make the dramatic effect of making out in the water. You endlessly watched romantic movies, and for once you wanted to experience how it felt to be loved so remarkably.

"I'm glad you came," he admits.

"I'm glad I came, too," you reply, moving your suddenly warm body towards him. With each slow movement floating forward, you thought you were closer to having a heart attack. The emotions inside of you couldn't be contained, and sooner or later you knew you'd end up kissing him.

Mitch wasn't the type to pull the first move. A matter of fact, you were the one whom had to ask him out in the first place. You didn't mind though, because his shyness was cute.

And as you both glared into one another's eyes, you knew this was a moment you'd never forget. Like this would be the imagine you would forever carry of him. The sunlight beating down on him as his body gradually touched with yours.

"I really like you," he tells you, "just so you know."

You faintly giggle, "I can speak the same."

After a few silent moments only consisting of the chirping of birds and nature itself, he finally played a move. A big time move. He leans in and you react with closing your eyes and following his actions. Once his lips unite with yours, you feel sparks run throughout your body. This was how it felt, you comment to yourself, referring to the many movies you watched.

The moment only quickly got heated, like a fire with gasoline. You couldn't bring yourself to stop. You never wanted it to end. Unfortunately, you didn't want to end up drowning so pulling away seemed like the appropriate approach.

Once you both release, the two of you laugh together. You admire the way he joyfully laughs while carelessly lifting your legs around his torso. You felt the pit of fear expand, but you didn't care the slightest.

You bow your head down after his helpless and contagious laughter died down. Forehead against forehead. "I feel some type of way when I'm with you," he adds.

"Which was why I wanted to ask if you wanted to become my girlfriend? So we can share memories like these more often and --"

Your eyes bulge at his words at first, due to the fact you never expected him to ask you such a thing. At least not yet. You wanted to scream in joy and happiness and everything good in between.

You nod, needless to say. "I was starting to think you'd never ask," you admit, thoughtlessly cupping his face as you kissed him for what would be only one of the countless kisses you'd share in the future. He plants kisses all over you, resulting in you giggling like a maniac.

"C'mon lovebirds! Dinner is served!" You hear called from within the lovely cottage home.

After swimming up to the dock, you run barefoot back up to the house, anxious to eat. With Mitch quickly running to your side and lacing his hand with yours, you whisper, nuzzling your head onto his shoulder, "I had a good feeling about you when I first met you, Marner."

The way he had you feeling in such little amounts of time told you he was special. The type of special that comes rare nowadays. You were now embraced as a couple, and not knowing how things would play out, you had great premonitions bubbling inside of you. Maybe this was love, you thought, possibly something astonishing that would be forever cherished. Innocent youthful love.
