The snow outside of your home town didn't seem to stop. Although shortly after a while of constantly falling snowflakes created dangerous roads and rose the cautiousness among everyone, it truly was an astonishing sight. It was the season of joy and beauty, your personal favourite season.

"What are you thinking about?" Brendan asks, examining your expression quickly before fixing his eyes on the road.

You draw a breath of happiness and smile, continuing to stare out the window with joy filled in your spirit. "How beautiful it is outside," you say with a chuckle, "and I guess I was just thinking about tonight."

You were only a mere matter of minutes away from your childhood home. It was Christmas Eve and, as always, your entire family was celebrating at your mom and dad's place. This had been the third time in a row that you sang and celebrated with Brendan by your side. You had suggested changing it up this year by heading down to his parents home, but he insisted not to. You knew exactly why he refused to party in his own old house.

The remainder of the drive flew by quickly. Once your home was in sight, you instantly saw the glow of Brendan's smile. He adored your family as they adored him.

After exiting his car and cautiously making your way up the stairs, you noted Brendan had beat you to it. He was beaming and ringing the doorbell like a child. The door swung open as both your mother and father embraced you both into a bone crushing hug. After all, it had been quite a while since you last met up with them.

"Children! Brendan and Y/N are here!" Your mother exclaims.

"Uncle Brendan!" Timothy, your sibling's son, yells. He swerves and avoids having to hug you first, and immediately hugs onto Brendan's leg. Ever since you first began arriving here with your loving boyfriend, the kids never seemed to get enough of him. Suddenly, many other small kids came stampeding toward Brendan, tackling him with hugs and laughter. You could only smile and watch them all with amusement, especially noting the joyful look on Brendan's face.

"Brendy? Can you pretty please come play with us downstairs!"

Brendan chuckles and ruffles Timothy's hair, "I will after I talk with your aunt Y/N's family."

After greeting with your family with Brendan alongside, your kiddish boyfriend charges toward the basement door. You figure you might as well join him, so you approach the basement and make your way downstairs.

"Hey baby," Brendan greets you, locking his lips on yours. Every damn time, you tell yourself. It was something about him, like every time he kissed you, you were falling all over again.

"Gross!"
"Eww, omg!"
"Cover your eyes!"

You laugh and smooch Brendan once more, mocking the small children that sat on the ground before you. "You'll appreciate it, once you have it," Brendan tells them, wrapping his arm around your waist.

Once more, Brendan vanishes from your sight to join the little ones in on a game. But once everyone is called upstairs to either eat or sing, the children all trip of each other in order to make it up the stairs.

Brendan sits next you on the old couch and hums as he beams.

"What are you thinking about, babe?" You ask. He wraps his arm around your shoulder and leans his head into your side.

"How excited I am to have a family with you," he smiled.

Your eyes bulge. He never really mentioned sharing a future with you, occasionally he'd bring up some things but it rarely ever occurred.

You chew on your bottom lip, "you really mean that?"

"Of course I do Y/N!" He kisses your cheek, "I really couldn't imagine settling down with anyone other than you."

You giggle and nudge him playfully, "well I'm positive you'd be a great dad. And hopefully a wonderful husband with that."

"Yeah?"

"Obviously. I don't think I've ever seen those kids love anyone as much as they admire you. I heard Y/S/N (your sibling's name) told me those kids constantly talk about you, you even got them into watching and cheering on the Canadiens!" You tell him, imagining how he'd one day be with your kids in the future.

Brendan looks up at you with his eyes full of glowing passion. "I can't wait for what the future has stored for us," he grabs onto your hand, "You and me baby. You'd be my lovely supportive wife crazily cheering on me at the game as our children shouted beside you."

You both laugh and share more creative ideas and inputs of what you both imagine being in your future. You can't help but smile enthusiastically. "I love you so much, Bren."

"I love you more than words can ever describe," he grins, pecking your nose. By proving the meaning of his words, he courageously grabs both sides of your face and kisses you like never before. As, like always, Sparks and butterflies run through your body, you both kiss thoughtlessly caring about anything else.

"Brendan! Y/N! We're starting!" Your mother calls, breaking the moment tremendously. You groan as Brendan giggles childishly.

"Race ya?" He winks, preparing to beat you up the lengthy stairs. You run past him and bolt up the stairs, beating Brendan to it. Once you both reached the top of stairs and exited through the door, he kisses you all over your face.

"Oh not again!"
"Gross! Gross! Gross!"
"I don't wanna know what they do when we're not around!" All the children exclaim and groan in annoyance. Once they finally take note that Brendan has paused his constant kisses, the kids drag Brendan out of the room.

It was yet another white Christmas, probably the best of all. And you knew with Brendan by your side, each year would only grow greater.

A/N: not exactly sure if this is good. I hope you like it anyway!
