Rooh (The broken soul) Part 2

"Rooh" Neil enters the room holding two coffee mugs to see his daughter sleeping soundly on the edge of the bed, a giant book from her third year medicine was hugging her. "Princess" Neil chuckled placing the cups on the bed side table and knelt before her taking the book away from her. He didn't even realize how the time flies and here his little Ruhi grown up to be a doctor, the little girl who used to sleep with her fairy tale princess story books to falling asleep reading her medical books. He slowly caresses her hair making her open her eyes slowly, "Let me sleep Papa" She said and munched her face on the pillow. He didn't want to disturb his Princess's pretty sleep but he has to, "Wake up bachaa. it's already 7 AM. you said you have an important test today" He said in a calm tone but she got up with a jerk. "Whattt.... Oh my god. Papa, I suppose to wake up at the 5 AM.... bohut tate(late) ho gayaa" (Whattt.... oh my god. Papa, I suppose to wake up at the 5 AM..... I'm gonna get late) she said getting up from bed slipping in his sandals. "Relax Rooh. ab late ho gaya na. tum jaldi ready ho jao main tumhara lunch already pack kar chuka hoon, main tumhe drop kar deta hoon" (Relax Rooh. You won't get late. You just go and ready quickly and I have already backed your lunch, I'll drop you) He said giving her coffee mug. "Par aapki meeting?" (but your meeting?) she asked, "Don't worry about that. I'll inform Papa to handle" He said sipping his coffee. Smiled occurred on her face, "Thank you Papaa...you are the besttt. love you!" She said jumping to hug him. He kissed her hair, "Love you Princess!". "awww!" Arohi who just came back from her night shift, stopped adoring her whole world. She entered the room with tired eyes, her white coat and stethoscope clinging in her left hand, "Kya chal raha hai yahan?" (What's happening here?) Arohi asked stepping near them making them look at her, "Doctor sahiba is backkkk.... I missed you babe" He said with a grin and pulled her to a hug. "Neilll" she stomped on his foot and pushed him, "You both continue, main jaa rahi hoon ready hone" (You both continue, I'm going to get ready) Ruhi ran to bathroom saying this leaving them chuckling.

"Matashree" "Papa" Ruhi called out desperately when her sleep broke, she got up from the bed only to realize it was her dream, her parents are not here with her. her gaze fell on the photo frame which she slept hugging last night. She held her tears, reminding herself that it is not time for her to cry, she has to pretend smiling until sunsets again. wearing a smile, she stepped out of the room, checking her wrist watch, "oh my god.... it's 6 AM already. I hope sab waha pe so rahe ho" (oh my god..... it's 6 AM already. I hope everyone there are still sleeping) She said remembering how she's keep visiting Birla house as a secret to Goenkas. "Ruhiiii" A sharp voice stopped her when she'd descended the stairs, she turned to see Parth walking towards her from the dinning table. "Tum kab aayi thi?" (When did you come?) He asked, "Kal raat tauji" (last night Tauji) Ruhi said and turned to leave. "Aree Ruhiiii..... tum? come let's have breakfast" (Ruhiii.... you are here? come let's have breakfast) Harsh asked when he entered the house after his jogging session. "No Dadu... I'm getting late. main kal raat waha ghar mein kisiko nahi bataya ki main bahar jaa rahi hoon. mujhe abhi jaana hoga" (No Dadu... I'm getting late. I've not inform them about staying here last night so I have to go now) Ruhi asked making him disappointed, "okay main aaj pakka lunch aapke saath karungi hospital mein, byee" (okay I'll definetely have lunch with you today, byeee) Ruhi said with puppy eyes and turned to leave, "Ruko, main tumhe drop kar deta hoon" (Wait, I'll drop you home) Parth said and walked outside leaving no room to discuss. Ruhi followed him quickly giving a hug to her Dadu.
