*Donnie's POV*

I was back in my lab, working on a new retro-mutagen recipe using one of the components suggested in the Kraang information cards. Ava had brought them for us when she escaped.

"Hey, Ava," I said. "Can you hand me the hydrogen-monoxide?"

"Sure," Ava sighed as she handed me a small container.

I looked up at her. "What's wrong?"

Ava didn't answer. She looked distant, as if she was lost in thought. She was so cute when she did that. Whenever she was thinking really hard, she scrunched up her nose and her head was tilted to the side.

"Ava?"

She jumped a little. "Huh? What?"

I chuckled a little. "Are you okay?"

"Oh! Um... Yeah. I'm fine," she sighed.

I put my beakers down. "Okay something is definitely wrong. What's up?"

Ava sighed again. "It's just, I was thinking. If the Kraang "took me in" when I was a baby, then what happened to my family? Do they miss me? Do they even remember me?"

I put a hand on her shoulder. "Is there anything I can do?"

She looked up at me. "Unless you can find my family, not really."

I thought for a second. "What's your last name?"

Ava looked confused, but she answered, "Johnson."

I began typing away on my computer, searching for the last name Johnson. After a few minutes, I found one match. Sally and Darryl Johnson.

"Found 'em," I said.

Ava's eyes widened. "What?"

She walked over to the computer and looked at what I had found. I noticed her eyes starting to tear up.

"Oh my god," she breathed. "I'm actually going to meet my family!"

I pulled her closer to me for a hug while she began to cry. I knew she had wanted this for a long time. And I know I only met her three months ago and I've only seen her twice in that three months, but I have stronger feelings for her than she will ever know.

*Mikey's POV*

I was playing video games with Jewel. She was beating me. Not that I was surprised. She was good at Street Fighter!

"So the fight we witnessed earlier," Jewel said, while kicking my ass at the game. "Is that normal?"

I shrugged. "Pretty much. Although it's never gotten so intense to the point where Raph left."

"Well Leo did bring Katelyn into it," Jewel pointed out.

I paused the game and faced her. "What does Katelyn have to do with it?"

She got a guilty look on her face before sighing. "You have to swear not to tell Raph I told you!"

I put one hand over my heart. "I swear."

"Okay." Jewel sighed again. "Raph and Katelyn are a thing."

"What?!" I screamed. Jewel covered my mouth.

"Quiet!" She whisper-yelled. "You and I are the only ones who know!"

I nodded and she removed her hand. "So, how long have they been dating?" I asked.

"About two months," Jewel replied.

"And no one's found out?"

Jewel shook her head. "Nope. I found out by walking by his room to get to the bathroom, and he forgot to close the door. They were kinda in the middle of a make out session."

I made a face. "Gross."

"Yeah."

I turned back to the tv and un-paused the game. She went back to beating me while I gave a half-hearted effort.

'I wonder if Leo would have let her stay if he knew?'
