*Ava's POV*

Leo had just come into the lab and told Donnie and I that we would be going to look for Raph and Katelyn with Mikey and Jewel.

"Ready Ava?"

I stood at the sound of Donnie's voice. "Yeah."

"Yo! Get a move on you two!" Mikey's voice shouted from the living room.

I giggled as I followed Donnie out of the lab.

"About time!" Mikey whined.

"Calm down Mikey," Donnie said with a roll of his eyes. "Let's just go already."

I shared an amused look with Jewel and we both followed the bickering brothers out of the lair.

We had been searching for about two hours, and had come up with nothing. I sat on the edge of a rooftop with a sigh.

"How are we supposed to find them at this rate?" I asked, to no one in particular.

"We've been looking forever and come up empty handed," Jewel sighed.

"Can we go home now?" Mikey asked.

"No!" Donnie said firmly. "Leo is already beating himself up over this. We don't need to add to his stress by returning without any news."

I stood. "Donnie, how are we supposed to find them? The city is huge! They could be anywhere!"

Donnie looked out over the city. "I know... But with Katelyn in the condition she was... It'll be a miracle if she's still alive when we get to them."

Jewel rested her chin in her palm. "This is a waste of time..."

Mikey suddenly jumped up. "Why don't we just call Raph?"

Donnie, Jewel, and I looked at Mikey with astonishment.

"Mikey... That's brilliant!" Donnie exclaimed. "I can't believe I didn't think of that!"

Mikey smirked. "I know. I'm smart."

I rolled my eyes. "Quit being such a narcissist and call him already!"

Jewel giggled a little as Mikey quickly pulled out his phone.

*Jewel's POV*

Mikey put the phone on speaker while we all waited for Raph to pick up. It was a couple minutes before he finally did though.

"Mikey!" Raph's voice came from the other line. "Man you have no idea how glad I am you called!"

'His voice sounds panicked... This isn't like the Raph I met back at the lair...'

"Raph... You sound panicked. Are you okay?" Donnie asked.

"Don? God I'm glad you're there too. Are you guys on patrol or something?"

"Leo sent us to look for you two," Ava replied.

"That doesn't matter now," I interrupted. "Why do you sound so worried?"

"Katelyn's gotten worse. She caught a small cold when we first got here but now I'm pretty sure it's like pneumonia or something now. She hasn't slept in three days and she won't stop coughing or sneezing and--"

"Whoa whoa, Raph calm down," Donnie said. "Where are you guys? I'll come help her right away."

"We're in that abandoned old room on top of the building on fifth," Raph replied.

"Be there in a sec bro!" Mikey told his brother before hanging up the phone. "Well, let's go!"

"Right!" I answered.

The four of us ran to the place Raph described without hesitation.

And Raph wasn't kidding about Katelyn's horrible condition.

A/n: sorry I took so long to update guys! I've been really busy lately. I got sick recently so I missed a lot of school and had a lot of homework to catch up on.

But now that I'm caught up I can update again! Yay!!
