Getting Better: Part 2

*Donnie's POV*

It had been about three days and Ava was getting better. She told me her head didn't hurt as much anymore and that I didn't have to talk so quietly either. I was glad her migraine was healing. I've had quite a few, listening to Leo and Raph argue, so I know how awful they can be.

Right now, Ava and I were researching some more of the Kraang technology she had managed to snatch when escaping. I had no idea their tech was so advanced! Just one flaw could set them back for months!

Ava pointed to the blueprints I had pulled up on my screen. "Look. This gray wire should be connected to the yellow wire, not the red one. If the Kraang tried to turn this on, the whole thing would explode."

I examined the blueprints and realized she was right. "Wow. Good eyes, Ava."

She smiled. "Thanks."

We turned back to the blueprints. I saw Ava turn away from it and sit down, a hand to her head.

"You okay?" I asked.

She nodded. "Yeah. Just a slight headache. Not as bad as it was."

I handed her a cup of water and an ibuprofen. "This'll help."

She gladly took them. "Thanks Don."

I smiled at her. "Anytime."

*Mikey's POV*

Jewel wasn't as sick as she used to be. She only had a slight cough now. I was glad she was feeling better. Mostly because she could finally play Street Fighter with me again!

Right now, she was beating me... Again...

I sighed as she won. I put the controller down.

She jumped up. "Yes! I win again! I am the ultimate Street Fighter master!"

I laughed. "Yeah you are!"

Her smile faded as she broke into a coughing fit. I handed her a cup of water.

"This will help. You still have a cough don't forget," I told her.

Jewel rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah I know..."

She took a drink of water and sat back down, changing the channel to the tv. I sat next to her as she randomly flicked through channels, trying to find something good.

After a few minutes of channel surfing, she sighed with defeat and tossed the remote on the couch.

I thought for a minute before my face slowly grew into a mischievous smirk.

"Wanna prank Donnie?"

Jewel looked up at me with a look that said it all.

"Do you even have to ask?"
