Apologies

*Donnie's POV*

When we got back to the lair, Raph brought Katelyn into my lab. I started treating her, discovering that her cold had turned into a really bad flu.

While I was taking care of her, I could hear Leo and Raph talking from the other room. For once they weren't yelling at each other.

"Raph, I know you're still mad at me but I wanted to apologize. If I never kicked Katelyn out then--" Leo started.

"Forget about it Leo. It's over with. Both Katelyn and I are safe," Raph interrupted.

I heard Leo sigh. "Yeah, that's the good thing."

Then their voices stopped and Raph came into the lab.

"How is she?" He asked.

"She's alive," I stated, giving him the only good news I had right now.

He sighed. "If I didn't just brush off her cold this wouldn't be happening..."

"Raph it's not your fault. Her immune system is weak from the years she's been tortured. She probably would have gotten worse even if she was being treated properly," I said, comforting him.

Raph nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

He walked to Katelyn's bedside and sat down, holding Katelyn's hand.

I hope she can pull through this...

*Mikey's POV*

When we got back to the lair, Leo and Raph worked out their problem and then Raph went to the lab. I sat on the couch with Jewel, turning on the tv.

"Do you think Katelyn will be okay?" She asked.

"Don't worry about it," I said. "Donnie's the best medical person thing I've ever met."

"He's the only medical person you've ever met," Leo pointed out.

"My point still stands," I retorted, crossing my arms.

Jewel snorted. "You guys are weird."

"And damn proud of it!" I exclaimed, jumping up so I was standing on the couch.

She laughed. "How did I not see that coming?"

I sat back down. "No idea."

We watched some weird tv show until both of us ended up falling asleep.
