*Ava's POV*

I couldn't believe it. Donnie found my family! And he did it... Actually I don't know why he did it.

"Hey Don?" I asked.

"Hmm?"

"Why did you look for my family?"

He looked up from what he was doing. "I wanted to make you happy."

My eyes widened. "What?"

Donnie blushed and looked back down at his experiment. "Umm... I-"

"You wanted to make me happy?" I repeated. "Wait, does that mean you- you care about me?"

Donnie didn't respond. I could've sworn I saw him blush again.

I covered my mouth. "Oh my god," I whispered.

The turtle I had happened to develop feelings for over the last few days liked me! And I was going to be able to find my family! This was the best day ever!

"I- I understand if you don't like me back," Donnie muttered.

"Donnie," I said. "Look at me."

He looked up at me with sad eyes.

"I've had the same feelings for the past few days now," I confessed.

His eyes widened. "What? Really?"

I nodded, slightly blushing now.

He sat there, dumbfounded for a moment before he suddenly stood and pulled me into a hug. I didn't push him away, just melted into it.

'This is the best day of my life.'

*Jewel's POV*

I sat on the couch next to Mikey, watching yet another horror movie. This one wasn't even scary. Just lame. I couldn't explain what it was about even if I tried, mostly because I haven't been paying attention half of the time.

I was mostly daydreaming. Just thinking of earlier when Mikey and I were laughing and playing video games. Maybe when the movie's over he'll play more.

I boredly sat through the rest of the movie. When it was finally over, Mikey sighed.

"Well that was probably the lamest horror movie I have ever seen."

I nodded. "Totally. I couldn't tell you why though, because for like the first half, I wasn't even sure what was happening."

Mikey laughed. "What about the second half?"

I shrugged. "Lost interest so I stopped paying attention."

He laughed again. "Wanna play Street Fighter?"

I smirked. "Sure. You ready to get your ass kicked?"

Mikey handed me a controller. "At least I'll be beaten by a pretty girl."

He suddenly froze, as if just realizing what he said. "I- um... I- oh forget it. I'velikedyouforawhilenowandhadnoideahowtotellyousoIdidn'tsoIcouldthinkofsomewaytoshowyou."

My eyes widened at how quickly he said that. I quickly recovered from my shock. "Mikey, I've liked you too."

He looked up in surprise. "Really?"

I nodded, blushing. "Yeah."

He gives me a huge smile. "Yay!"

I laugh my usual laugh, which I find obnoxious. My laugh is a snort. I laugh and snort every once in a while. It's annoying. I hate my laugh.

"Did I ever tell you how adorable your laugh is?" Mikey asked.

I look down. "I hate my laugh."

He took my hands and made me look up at him. "Well I think it's cute."

I blush. "Okay okay. Can we play the game now?"

He laughs and nods, starting the game. "Prepare to lose, girly."

"In your dreams!" I retort.

We played for about 3 hours.

And I ended up winning.
