Chapter 07

Ariel sighs as she takes off her clothes and changes to her nightwear, thinking about everything that happened at the party, she feels tired.

She does not know who to blame, everything happened so fast and before they know it Devilin and Chris was crashing through the window of the party. It was a good thing neither one of them were hurt badly, still she was worried for Jane as she really looked sad seeing her mate hurt.

She hopes he will be well soon so Jane will not have any thoughts of killing Devilin, as she knows Jane was not someone to keep things unequal, she would have hurt Devilin without a blink of her eye and Devilin being the good person he would take it all without a word.

Even if some calls him Devil, he is the most humble person she knows; he is a good son, brother and a friend.

Thinking about him makes her smiles.

"I hope the smile if because of me" Eric's voice makes Ariel jumps as she turns to look at the window to find Eric hanging on it.

"What are you doing?" she gasps rushing to his side and helping him to get in.

"Our conversation was interrupted badly so I couldn't even say goodbye properly or goodnight" he grins at her dusting his clothes off.

"Oh god, what if someone saw you climbing in?" she asks mortified.

"Relax, no one knows I am here not until you want to scream to the whole pack that a intruder is in your room" he points before looking around her room.

Suddenly she feels awkward as he was here in her room, the most personal space of hers.

"So" Ariel leaves it at that shuffling on her feet.

"So, well I don't know what made me come see you, but I just wanted to" he smiles rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay" she smiles walking to where he was standing near her bed.

"When will you be going back?" she asks after a while.

"What, you don't like having me around?" he jokes.

"It's not that" she protests.

"Relax, I am just joking. I do not know when I will go have not given it much thought. While we are on the topic, I want to ask you something," he asks serious suddenly.

"What is it?" she worries seeing his reaction.

"Can you sit for a while?" he requests and she sits at the edge of the bed not knowing what he was going to say.

"I was thinking, just a random thought and you can totally say no, but I wanted to ask if you want to come along with me...

I won't be here for too long and if this between us, if you want to continue, totally up to you, if you want to make this work then we need to do something...

How about you come with me, explore the world see where this goes, I am not pressuring you or anything but, I am begging actually for you to join me" he grins at the end of his explanation of the offer and she smiles as well.

"I really don't know, I have never been out alone on my own"

"You won't be alone; I will be there with you. I mean don't you want to be out and see the world?" he asks cheerful making her think about the offer.

"I don't know Eric, we hardly know each other and I just can't up and go to wherever you are taking me...

It's not that simple" she explains hesitation clear in her voice.

"It's not that complicated as well, just think on it. I will be around for a few days, you still have my number and if you want to come along with me, all you have to do is call me and I will wait...
