Chapter 25

Dante looks around the destruction they did before he stares at the faces of his fellow members.

"Let us just focus on the meeting we were supposed to have" he sighs before pulling on his chair and staring at it with a frown.

"Do you think I should get a throne for myself?" he asks still with a frown.

"No" everyone shouts at once and he nods before taking his seat.

"So, as we all know that we have been having some problems tracking down Eric but just a few hours ago he contacted me...

He wants to be back in HP," Dante informs them getting straight to the point.

"Why do I feel there is a, but in all of this?" Reese points out it.

"There is, he wants to be in HP but he has few of his own conditions"

"I don't think he is in the place to make demands and conditions" Ethan points it out at which a few of the members nod in agreement.

"I know that, but if we don't say yes to those conditions then the chance of catching him will be gone so, hear the conditions and if you still think it is not worth it then we will work accordingly"

"Fine, go on then"

"First and foremost he wants to be back inside the team who is handling most of the tests and experiments...

Second, he does not want us to treat him as a criminal until and unless it is proven so, because it seems he does not remember the incident as well, that is why he never spoke anything about it as he was as scared as we were...

Last, he does not want any of his family members to know about his comeback well not until he gets an antidote for his sister's condition or prove he is innocent on the case" Dante puts all of Eric conditions out in front of the others to make their decisions accordingly.

"Why does he not want his parents to know about him being back?" Ryan frowns at the condition.

"He says he just feels ashamed of being away for so long without any sort of contact as well as he does not want to face them before he gets some sort of solution on Engel's condition...

I think it's a fair thing" Dante answers, speaking of the answer he got from Eric.

"Strange though, don't you think? I mean if he lost his memory of that day then why did he not said so in the first place and make us believe that he was the criminal" Sam is the one to speaks this.

"Good point" Rom grins as he looks at Sam who grins back.

"Because, he thinks Devon was the one who killed the special kids"

"He remembers Devon?" Rom asks confused, as according to what they knew no one knows of Devon's existence.

"Yes, he is not sure what happened that day but he says that Devon being in that room makes him a culprit too as none of them know about what happened that day"

"He has a point, all of us accused him of something that no one is sure he did and with Devon being with Eric that day brings this case to a whole new level...

It also means that you will get the heat of the fire too as you hid the fact that Devon was in that room that day Dante, even if we have known you for far too long your intentions may waver when it comes to your kids" Rom states clearly.

"So, you mean I intentionally tried to hide Devon just so I can save his ass?" Dante asks outrageously.

"Who knows Dante, we cannot just jump to conclusions here but seeing as how you made your own son disappear for so long makes our finger raise your way as well...
