Christmas Eve

"Loyal it's you first christmas papa" He just laughed staring at me. Christmas is my favorite holiday in the whole wide world and i use to go all out for my brothers and sisters. Now I have my kids of my own to be extra for. Domo got a lil attitude because i went a lil overboard on the decorations and gifts for the boys. Today i am throwing a Christmas party for the kids. I've invited my brothers and sisters, Chrisean's stepson, and JohnJohn's daughters. So a lot of kids is an understatement

"Mama when this lil shit suposed to start?" Domo asked emerging from the livingroom

"At three. Thats In two hours. Did you and Dj shower cause you surely not in your pajamas" Domo rolled his eyes and smiled. He likes giving me a hard time but he's just as excited

"Dj is dressed and on his game. I will get dressed after i get LA together while you finish cooking . I got this ma'am you are his mother not mine" He laughed holding his hand out

"Dont do me like that Domonique, cause you be just as bad as them" I told him laughing. I picked loyal up from his chair and passed him to Domo with a kiss.

"You really think your peoples gon come?" Domo asked and i just shrugged. I haven't talked to her since the whole thing at Kevin's house. Word got around and you know the gossip was totally wrong but she took it and ran with it. She wasn't mad that i fought the mama she was mad that "Domo pointed a gun to Coach's head while his hood gangbangers jumped Kevin" I tried to explain to her that was not what happened but she went on and on about me ruining her image and destroying in opportunity to Loyal having a suburban life. After that, we got into it and she blocked me

"I hope so but if not Ill jsut leave they gifts at the door for them"  Domo wrapped his arm around me and kissed my head again. "One thing that she got right is that you really are a diamond."

Jayda's party was in full effect. Kids were running around crazy and jayda was smiling so hard. Her siblings and her parents are here as well so shes just over the moon.

"Mrs. Carter may i speak to you for a second?" Her mom mugged for a second but nodded. We walked out the onto the back porch.

"Its really cold out here so im going to try to make this quick. I know that you might not like the things you heard about me and i can guarantee that some of it may not be 100% true but what i do want you to know is that i do love your daughter and grandson like he is my own. We've been through so much in so little time but i  know for a fact that i want to spend the rest of my life with your daughter. I wanted to ask you for your blessing to ask your daughter to marry me while all of the people we love is going to be here tonight?Well everyone will be here soon. I flew her twin out from his christmas tournament. Tori is still on her way " She looked me up and down with a mug and then her face softened

"You are correct Mr.Domonique. The stuff that i have heard about you have been nothing short of concerning. Coach came to me and put in a good word for you. Told the truth about that day. Your love and care for my daughter is one that i feel that i myself may have neglected from her. When the twins came into my life i was lost and instead of finding myself i just pushed them away. Then we moved and i had more kids, and pushed them away too. But Jayda took all of that on herself and picked up my slack. When i kicked her out i realized i dont even know who my babies were and none of them deserved that at all. You cherish my baby please. Cherish her how everyone in her life have neglected to do." She hugged me and cried. I gave her a long hug and then screaming were heard from inside.
