Happy new year?
Have you ever had a moment in your life when things were just fine, well not fine but liveable and in just one moment, one split second your world comes crashing down around you? Well if you haven't you can have one of mine. I've had enough to last me a life time; my parents dying, watching my teacher die in my arms, finding out Maxi was pregnant and then that she had had my baby aborted! God - why can't life be simple? I thought, Please I'm asking you, the Big Man upstairs. Why do these things happen? Do you do this to us for a reason? We may not live like saints but it's not like we killed the King of Spain.
Because then life would be simple.
Everyone around me just seemed to die! How did I know people around me weren’t going to start just be dropping like flies? I didn’t even get to meet the baby, I thought. That’s what brought me to my new year’s resolution. I wanted one normal year of life. Nothing bad was allowed to happen to me, I wouldn’t allow it. It felt like it should be everyone else’s too - Don't let anything bad happen to Simon Watson.
I know this is short! But I just felt it had to be that way... sorry
