Hi I'm new at writing books so I would like constructive criticism. NOT negative comments.

The whole thing is kinda in a anime setting so there is going to be anime things like sweat drops, sparkly eyes, anime emotions, anime scenes

The highschool he goes to is Metalburg highschool and they specialize in mechanics and calculus.

The drawing is the front of the highschool and is MINE you can't take it

Oh, and also I'm gonna be calling you kwitty cats ok? Unless you have better ideas for a fan name

Copper's P.O.V

'Today is the first day of highschool. I'm going to be in freshman year. Honestly I am not that excited. It's just going to be a another year of bullying and judgement.' "Copper hurry up, I'm ready to leave." Dad (A.K.A Jack) shouted up the stairs. "Im coming, im coming, you don't have to shout," I replied. I quickly grabed my bag and bolted down the stairs. "And why shouldn't I shout when we're about to be late?" Dad questioned. "I was and still am a dog you know, I have very sesitive hearing." I stated blankly while pointing at my ears. "Okay enough chating we need to get going." I noded and followed him to the car.

"Well bye Dad," I shouted as I walked away from the car. "Oh, you have the right to yell," he muttered to himself. "I heard that, and yes I do," I replied over my shoulder.

I walked into the building and and my ears were immediately pelted with noise. I growled under my breath as I felt my ears start to bleed. I quickly walked into the office and shut the door. I sighed with relief realizing that the office was sound proof. I walked up to the secretary and politely asked,"Excuse me miss, could you please sign me in and give me my schedule?" Obviously thrilled by my politeness she quickly gave me my schedule and a pair of earplugs. I gave her a small smile realizing she had seen the blood dripping from my ears, pluged the earplugs in, said a low thank you and walked out.

With the earplugs my hearing was reduced to a little lower than a human's and I was grateful for that. I checked my schedule. 'Lets see, hmm homroom is in room 308,1st Period is Science, the most hated class in my book. Second Period is Literature, fine. Third is P.E, I can deal with that. Fourth is Art, one of the best. Fifth is Calculus, why am I so good in math?! And Sixth is Mechanics, the overall best! Gosh when did I get so girly!?' That's what I was thinking as I walked down the hallway towards homeroom.

It was surprisingly quiet inside.

Too quiet.

The hairs on the back of my neck stood up at the stillness. And all eyes were on me. I glared at all of them and said in a monotone voice with a bored expression "What are you all staring at." Many turned their heads to the side in shame or embarrassment. A few just kept staring. One looked at me with a mixture of confusion, fear, and relief. I stared at him back and tilted my head slightly. The other students seemed to had recognized our staring gazes on each other and turned their attention away from us. Leaving us alone.

The teacher did not.

"I see that you are the late arrival. I'm Mr. Cinsar. The only empty seat is next to Tiffan Tindall. Tiffan raise your hand." He said. The boy that I was staring at earlier reluctantly raised his hand. "Please go sit next to him." I nodded sheepishly as I walked towards the empty seat. Before I sat down I saw Tiffan flinch. I eyed him carefully as I took my seat. 'Why is he so tense?' To stop my thoughts from getting off track I took a deep silent breath in through my nose.

Smells bombarded me instantly. But the closest and most prominent one was the smell of cat. And it seemed to be leaking from right beside me.... What!? I took another deep breath and the scent was still there. Confused and slightly startled I slowly turned to my right and meet Tiffan's petrified gaze. His fear was obvious. But why? Then I realized. The cat scent was emitting from him. He's a cat. I'm a wolfdog. He was probably thinking that I was going to attack him as soon as he moved. I may be a dog but I don't have any ill feelings toward cats. I actually enjoy their presence when they're nice. I slowly leaned toward him and he tensed.

Feeling sympathetic I spoke in a low, calm voice. "It's okay, loosen up I won't hurt you." The shock and relief on his face was evident. When he talked it was hesitant. "Um, why are you being so nice?"

I scoffed. "Just because I'm a dog doesn't mean that I'm going to instantly hate you just because your a cat." He looked relieved. "Plus we might be the only shifters in the school so if one of us needs help from the other it's best if we're friends." I stated calmly. A ghost of a smile tugged on his lips, his nervousness forgotten. "Thanks." I smiled back at him. "Nothing to thank me for."

We spent the rest of homeroom talking about our intrests and getting to know each other. By the end of class we were comfortable enough with each other to call each other nicknames.

RRIIIIIIIINNNGGG! The bell sounded, signifying that the period was over. In one fluid movement I had gathered all of my belongings and was walking out the door, Tiffan following. We seperated. "Well, see ya later Tin Tiger." "Adios, Copper Coyote."
