21] Lover

Jungkook's heart raced as he layed on the bed with the doctor taking readings of his reports and the vibe in the room with just the doctor and Jungkook , made it feel uncomfortable for the boy.

He wanted Mrs. Kim to be there but the doctor had strictly prohibited anyone's entrance in the room until he allowed.

Right now , Jungkook prayed silently because he felt something strong which was really unsettling for him.

" Since when you knew about your pregnancy? " Doctor asked aloud which made Jungkook almost breathless but when he realized that no one was in the room , he tried relaxing himself before mumbling a low , " A-About two months ago. "

Doctor nodded with a deep thoughtful hmm and sat down in the couch beside the bed as he looked at Jungkook with a concerned expression which made the man worried.

" What h-happened doctor? I-Is something wrong? " He asked at which doctor asked , " Do you want it to be wrong? "

Not able to understand , the masked man furrowed his eyebrows.

Sighing,  doctor asked ,  " Did you not want the child , Mr. Jeon? "

Jungkook's eyes widened hearing the person sitting in front of him. " What! Are y-y * Cough* " He started to cough because of the pressure which was applied on his lungs due to an angry voice.

" Calm down Mr. Jeon. I just want to know. There is no need to get angry. Please answer me calmly. " The doctor softly spoke but it wasn't really what Jungkook bothered about.

He just wanted to know why the hell the doctor had said that.

" No. " Jungkook sternly spoke. " Of course I wanted the child! "

" Then why did you continue your smoking and drinking ? That too in a great quantity which can now effect the unborn child. " Hearing the doctor Jungkook turned silent as worry creeper up his heart making it squeeze badly.

" Is something wrong , d-doctor? " The man's voice trembled as he looked at the white coat wearing man's face who gave a tight look at the screen of Jungkook's report before saying,  " The chances of this child coming in this world are very low. "

A breathless shaky gasp left his lips and his heart beat started to get uneven.

" It was a mere zygote when you fell and that's the only reason this fetus is developing but because of your poor physical and mental health the foetus is getting effected seriously and also the amount of drugs that you have consumed had been effecting your internal system henceforth the child ....... I don't know how it's still there. " doctors sounded as if it was just impossible for the child to be alive which was actually understandable but the question arised again.

If Jungkook wanted the child then why did he drink so much ?

" Also...." doctor continued with a sigh , " ..... I can not hide this from Mr. Kim anymore. "

Jungkook's eyes widened in shock hearing that and shook his head strongly before speaking , " You can't. You just , Can't! He must not know. N-Not now. "

" I have to , sir. He will kill me and destroy everything if he knows that I knew it yet kept it hidden from him. He is your husband Mr. Jeon and I see that he loves you so there can be no harm in telling him about this. Also there are huge chances of a miscarriage with such a physical health that you have right now. He must atleast know about this before something bad happens." The doctor gave a valid reason but Jungkook was in no condition of listening to him.

He shook his head and denied it with his chest falling up and down faster than it should, " No doctor. He must not know. You don't understand – he must not know. He shouldn't know! I-I will tell him but you must not. Give me sometime and I will–"
